Small traditional Puertorican cafeteria that reminds me of having lunch at grandma's.
From the moment you enter, you hear the classic salsa music, see the old-fashioned decoration, and even the style of the building reminds me of old cafeterias when I was a child. It was that traditional feel of the past that's nostalgic.
The food tastes great, just like a home-cooked meal. Portions are a bit smaller than other places nearby, but this is hardly an issue because the prices are cheaper.
Like I mentioned, prices are good. Even better with takeout, cause they give you a lot more.
I would've liked, however, that the yuca was presented a bit less... sludge-like. It didn't look appetizing despite tasting great.
Overall, this is a neat little cafe that's worth eating in if you want a light lunch at a cheap price.
