I was excited to come here, they supposedly have excellent lobster, we drove from Arecibo, on a Saturday, got here 3ish. !!!!!OUT OF LOBSTER!!! 😳 I was upset. We ordered the 1.5 lb fried chillo, the stuffed mofongo with conch and shrimp, two beef empanadas one lobster empanada.the fish was definitely a one pounder, we eat chillo all the time, we know. It was good, cooked just right, that’s the only reason they are getting 2 ⭐️s instead of 1. The conch was gummy. Ewe. The beef empanadas were excellent. The Lobster empanada was trash. Probably cause I don’t do consolation prizes. Nah, not that, it was definitely awful. The waitress was just ok. The personality of a rock, and failed to check on us, we had to ask another waitress for napkins, ran out of water and drinks, she never asked if we wanted refills or something else to drink, she was on her phone most of the time we were there. I guess with this place it’s hit or miss, definitely a miss today, Saturday 8-27-22.☹️

Hidden Gem in the heart of earthquake prone Ponce. About 2km. from Ponce Mall lies one of the best restaurants I've ever eaten at in PR. Though we were not impressed with the pin~a colada or the jugo de china, we were extremely delighted by the empanadas (pulpo y pollo) we ordered as appetizers. Things got better from there: My daughter ordered the Bistec Milanese and she thouroghly enjoyed it. My wife ordered the traditional mofongo de carne, which to her dismay was the one dish every one pillaged(including my finicky fourteen year old). I ordered the Pillo Frito (Fried whole red snapper) and spent the next half hour delectably gnawing off every bit of protein till only a carcass remained. Very satisfying! We applaud the owners for their dystopian covid measures: Locked door and proof of vaccination required to even look inside. Take-out orders are covertly distributed from the back service entrance. Coffee was great too!

Basically fell in love with this seafood restaurant every single time I ate something new!! The rice is delicious the fresh fish and lobster was on point seasoned enough but not too much so the garlic sauce us still relevant and brings another layer of flavorful experience to the dish. We ate at this restaurant on 4 different occasions in one week! Staff is friendly and most understand if not speak English, the drinks are also very well and there steak is also very well made for a predominet seafood restaurant!! Will always go here when ever I am back in town!!!

Service was SLOW! When our party of 6 came in there was one other table dining. This was around 4pm so there was no lunch or dinner rush. There were plenty of servers, but we waited to get our orders taken, then for the food to arrive. While we were waiting for our food to arrive, more dinner guests were arriving.

During our dinner, the server came only ONCE to refill our water and ask for other drinks.

My plate was fried pork with mofongo. The mofongo was small, and the meat was dry and hard, despite an ample serving of meat. The cheesecake was frozen, so it was hard to eat.

After all of this, I had to go up to the bar to ask for our check because we had to go and by this point we had been there 1:30hrs, yet took close to 30 mins or less to eat our entire plates. We waited ANOTHER 10 mins for the server to give us our check at the table. When he arrived, he asked in which tabs were which food items, so that he went back to the bar to then come back to our table and give us our individual checks. After this, we had to go back to the bar to then pay even though they had wireless POS at the bar which could've been brought to the table.

I give this restaurant 2 stars only because my sister kept raving about how good her octopus...

I ordered shrimp cocktail, was expecting Puerto rican style but received rubbery room temperature shrimp with bottled cocktail sauce on top of lettuce and tomatoes. Shrimp tasted like they boiled the flavor out of them the previous day. Ordered Sopa Mariscos, while there was plenty of seafood in the dish, the flavor of the broth was completely absent and undeveloped. I added salt, their homemade hotsauce and chimichurri sauce to add some flavor and the soup still was quite bland. I asked that the soup be placed into a container and elected to allow it to rest overnight in a futile attempt to recover the dish. I had to ask the waiter to refill the water at the table three times and my shrimp cocktail plate remained at the table even after I requested a container for my soup. For this reason I am giving the restaurant a well deserved 1 star in hopes that others avoid this horrific experience. On a positive note, the ripe plantains were delicious and were the only enjoyable part...
