A Disappointing Experience at New York Big Pizza I recently had the misfortune of dining at New York Big Pizza, and I must say that my experience left much to be desired. From the lackluster food to the abysmal service, it was a nightmarish visit that I feel compelled to share with others. Allow me to paint a picture of my disappointing encounter at this pizza place.
Unappetizing Fare: The moment our food arrived at the table, it was evident that freshness was not a priority at New York Big Pizza. The pizza crust was stale and lacked any semblance of flavor. Toppings were sparse, and the cheese was rubbery and tasteless. It was disheartening to see such lackluster craftsmanship in a supposedly renowned pizza establishment.
To add insult to injury, the accompanying side dishes were equally disappointing. The salad was wilted and looked as if it had been sitting out for hours(ensalada de dia anterior). The baked potatoes were undercooked and tasted like they had been reheated multiple times.( mala la papa asada). It was evident that no care had been taken in preparing these dishes, leaving us with a subpar dining experience.
Lackluster Service: While the food was undoubtedly the main culprit behind my dissatisfaction, the service at New York Big Pizza also left much to be desired. The person manning the cash register seemed disinterested and displayed a complete lack of enthusiasm. Their bad mood was palpable, and their responses were curt and unfriendly. It was clear that they had no interest in providing a pleasant dining experience for their customers.
Furthermore, when we expressed our dissatisfaction with the quality of the food, the staff seemed completely apathetic. They neither apologized nor made any effort to rectify the situation. It was evident that customer satisfaction was not their priority, leaving us feeling unheard and unimportant.
In conclusion,my experience at New York Big Pizza was nothing short of a disappointment. The lack of fresh and flavorful food, coupled with the disinterested and inhospitable service, made for an underwhelming visit. It is disheartening to see a once-reputed pizza place fall so far from grace. I would strongly advise against dining ( almorzar tampoco) at New York Big Pizza, as the quality of their food and service no longer meet even the most...
Read moreWhen I enter for the first time, it look very nice as a family-friendly pizzeria restaurant, it seen it had lot costumers back in their day, still pack with families around, has a bar for obviously adults, though there were no buffet display sense it does not seen used. I notice there was a second floor which is cool but it is closed, feels abandonded as well, speaking of abandoned, it does feel like it is abanded because the place looks old and dull. It need works, more shinier, more atmosphere. As we had to wait in line, we order "Calzones", 2 of them with pepperoni and add cheese cover, but the huge disappointed that they didn't do the cover cheese. As we waited for more than 30 minutes, it was done and it was a struggle to eat with a plastic fork, it bended as I try to cut it, why not give silverware? It was a struggle to cut it, but let's go for the positive, the food was good, damn good, lot of cheese inside and pepperonis, the way I like it. I just wish it was not much of a struggle, if they added silverware.
Conclusion: It is worth it to eat and expecially if you have group of people: Family, Friends, ect. But it does need a new look the place so that it does not look dull. That's...
Read moreI've come here quite a few times when I travel to PR now. Now that I have moved here, I visit quite often. They are ALWAYS busy and always packed, but it's because the food is amazing! The prices are in-between some items are expensive but well worth it because you get a lot for your money. There is quite a wait for your food but again because it's always crowded so that's to be expected. I highly recommend this place to anyone especially new customers you won't be disappointed! (CHICKEN CALZONE in picture btw it's HUGE! at least a foot long...
