Decent pizza place.

Pizza Chef's is a pizzeria right next to the traffic lights. They specialize in Italian food and Criollo dishes.

First thing you'll notice is that it's hard to park here. We got lucky finding a spot, but that's why most folks that eat here go for takeout.

Inside it's a nice air conditioned room. It's not the worst place to be. If you go in and you're taller than 6'0, duck or you'll bump your head.

Their menu is pretty big, and their prices are average; not too high, not low either.

Service has a few issues. For one, our appetizer arrived WITH the food. That shouldn't happen, that's why it's an appetizer. Second, it has a high wait time (45-60 minutes). Late appetizer and high wait time is a bad combo. The employee who tended to us was lovely.

The food is pretty good. Their mofongo balls were amazing, a nice mix of soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. The pizza is made with integral dough, so the crust may taste a bit weird at first. But it's worth it just to avoid the stomachache of white flour. It's a nice pizza. I'd describe it as 8/10.

Overall, I think this place is good and has great potential. A few tweaks and you've got a great pizzeria...

Tengan algo claro, aunque se tardó una eternidad en llegar la comida siendo los únicos en el establecimiento... la comida estuvo BUENÍSIMA!!!! De eso no se duda. Estuvo riquísima y recomiendo el lugar en ese aspecto. Pero... Y esto es lo importante, NO se está implementando correctamente el uso de mascarillas en todo momento y cuando se ponen las mascarillas, se las ponen mal, exponiendo la nariz, y sin mantener la distancia apropiada del consumidor en estos momentos de pandemia. Este tipo de acción es inaceptable. Están poniendo en riesgo no solamente a sí mismos, sino al cliente. Estuve ansiosa todo el momento siendo yo persona de alto riesgo. No pienso volver a este lugar hasta que se vaya la pandemia...
