Gridiron Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Pontiac

We always eat here but tonight we ordered six hot dogs and fries. The hot dogs were ice cold in the middle and the fries were hot as hell. We called back and the lady was rude and hung up the phone on us..Then we drove back and went inside and she started yelling saying we're not getting any money back and we didn't want no money back we just wanted her to see she served us cold food. We left the food there on the bar. Don't call yourself a bar and grill. Because this food was not even good enough for my dog....I can't wait to see the owner tomorrow. He wasn't here today... Now they won't...

I was pleasantly surprised the first time I went there. Gridiron is your typical neighborhood dive bar with lots of friendly regulars and a charismatic owner. It reminds me of Cheers ( the old sit com). The drinks are inexpensive and generous. A vodka and cranberry was only $3.00, and the bottle of Budwiser was $2.75 . I can only give 3 stars here because, the highest rating possible in this class/type of cantina, is a three. great bar food and generous drinks (strong) for your money. nice, old school, hole in the wall, traditional bar. desperately needs a make over, (to keep up with competition) rough, and tough situations later in the evening. they need a fire flamed grill upgrade for their best...
