USPS Michigan Metroplex P&DC — Local services in Pontiac

Worst distribution center ever! My packages always used to go through the Allen Park distribution center the day before they were scheduled to arrive and they would get here on time. But now ever since all my packages have been going through Pontiac distribution center they're always late! Soon as they hit Pontiac they stop and don't move for two days, I never get my packages on time anymore because of the Pontiac distribution center!!! What is even more crazy is I live closer to Pontiac than I do to Allen Park! They really need to get their act together and get the stuff out when it is supposed to be out! I don't get things shipped to my home priority to get them late, I pay the extra so that I can get them when I need them and get them when they schedule the delivery! Never has this Pontiac distribution center gotgot my packages to me on their scheduled delivery date, not once!!! It is definitely Pontiac's issue because I've never had this problem before they switched to Pontiac!!! Allen Park always got everything out and to me on time! Please USPS take care of this issue and figure out why they can never get the mail out correctly and on time like all the other distribution...

Doesn't even deserve 1 star. Probably the worst place ever. If your package lands here good luck you will never see it. I have sent a lot of packages from and to Germany before and never had an issue. But the last time it got sent to this distribution center and that's where the trouble started. It took 1 month! to receive my package because it kept going back and forth to pontiac. I get it today and it is completely empty! They took out everything except 1 bag of candy. They even replaced the coffee beans with cheap ground coffee. Who the f does this??? Then they slapped on a "sorry your package got damaged, we apologize for the inconvenience" sticker and call it a day. Yeah sure, my package suddenly got damaged on the transport, everything except one thing fell out and the coffee beans were miraculously replaced by some unknown force in the process. And then it taped it self back together. Are you kidding me?? Avoid sending your packages here at all cost! I would rather drive 5 hours to pick it up from any other location than have it be stuck here. They should all be criminally charged! I lost almost $200 and my birthday was ruined. Thanks...

Please note site won’t let me edit rating to zero stars which is my rating This place is the absolute disgrace of the USPS. I have had innumerable outrageous delays with the simplest of envelopes to packages over the last 10 years. Zero exaggeration. I thought recently it may have been remedied, but this week I found out that two birthday cards in simple standard envelopes took over a month to reach both a local MI and out state destination. There is no excuse for this. I’m so sick of it. No one reports them and there is no way to reach them to complain. I switched mailing packages years ago to UPS who NEVER FAILS on delivery timeliness. We are held hostage with simple envelope mailings by this deplorable switch 10 years ago to sending every piece of mail, no matter the SE MI local origin post office through this joke of a facility. Absolutely unacceptable. Get your officials there to do a swamp clean out...
