Very disappointed in our experience tonight. I was working late, so my husband brought dinner home for me when he took our daughter out to eat earlier in the evening. He ordered me a sausage, mushroom, and onion calzone. When I got home from work, I discovered they'd made my calzone with onion, sausage, and giardiniera instead. My calzone was soaked in oil from the giardiniera and was so spicy I couldn't eat it. Unfortunately, it was at closing by the time I got home to eat, but I called to let them know and asked if I could just get it made right the next day. The girl on the telephone was super sweet, apologetic, and professional but informed me her boss was only willing to credit us half the total of the calzone, not remake it. I thanked her, told her it wasn't her fault, and that we just won't be back. We've dined in and ordered numerous times since moving to the area recently. One time, the owner even came over to our table and boasted how much better he does things than the original Bravo owner and how all his ingredients are the finest of Chicago, "no expense spared". It seems to me that a business owner that sure of himself would train his management to handle a situation like this better than crediting a customer half the amount for an order that was made incorrectly. Hopefully, they do better for the next customer. Thank you, however, to whoever answered the phone when I called. She was very kind and professional.

We’ve been ordering from Bravos since they opened. We’ve ordered countless items and this is the first time I’ve felt the food was so bad that I needed to say something. We’ve had several times that we needed to call and complain to them, in the past couple years and they’ve always been good about getting us a credit to use the next time. The food is NOTHING like it used to be. Tonight we had eggplant and chicken parmesan and it was tasteless and warm at best. You used to get it and it was drowning in red sauce that was so hot it would melt the plastic fork. Today we struggled to find sauce, not to mention that when you cut it the cheese held its shape because it was cold. Lastly, they always have a nice warm loaf of bread with the order. We got two loaves of “croutons” tonight. As I attempted to pull the slices apart and put some butter on it, to soften it up, it just crumbles to pieces. This is sad to see since the original owner worked so hard to create a good name and I hope that they will do better in the future. The o Lu reason this gets two stars is because the delivery driver was very friendly. For now, we will go elsewhere.

Update: The specialty hamburgers were awesome! The spicy chicken wings were very juicy, soup was hearty, and the pizza had crispy crust and toppings were plentiful. Very reasonable prices. Their bar was clean and had three TV's showing sports. I did not sit in the dining area, but it looked relaxing and the staff was very sweet. I will definitely be eating there in the future.

Never again..I understand prices going up, but mis management of a business, charging extra fir credit card use. Prices are sky high on there blacked out menus, REALLY BLACK OUT PRICES and charging extra! Wait till the menus are in and donit right. Certainly bad management! My food was good, but definitely smaller portions on too of the higher prices. Didn't even get full with the 8 French fires on my plate..WOW! And doesn't bother you to serve that! Bad service the waitress didn't even know the prices on the menus and had to go ask over and over. Be careful of how you order.. we had 2 pasta meals one small and one large.they was exactly the same small portion..the large was just in a bigger bowl..I told the waitress it was easy to see..she just said sorry , she has no control over the kitchen. Over years I loved going to brovos, now iam so disappointed over the way the new owner has ruined things , and makes No effort at fixing anything... rwad the many other reviews..the owner hates bad reviews, and even tells some people to stop leaving them..but does nothing to things. Beautiful place to eat, usally good food , but I definitely feel taken advantage of, sence the new owner has taken over years ago..everytine I go in there it's always a problem with the kitchen. I use to love this place..but it's gone down hill as far as the way management handles problem.he would rather tell you to shut up, becausehe's not going to change things....I simply won't be back..take advantage of me once , but you will not have the chance to do it again. READ THE REVIEWS. This many bad reviews are a red flag to ruin your eating experience . I never leave bad reviews, but my $85 meal, I rather go spend that money on a steak and lobster..its ok though, sooner or later he will run people out that will...

I really used to enjoy Bravo's food, but about two years ago I believe they got a new owner and nothing has been the same quality there since. The owner, in 2020, jacked up all the prices and then was double charging on the credit card machine while claiming we could 'Thank Biden' if we didn't like the taxes going up so dramatically (ex. we ordered $75 worth of food and assuming the delivery charge is $5-10 with tax it should be somewhere around $80-90 before tip, and it was $108, and I remember these numbers because of how sideways that seemed). I had worked at a pizza place in a neighboring town, at the time, and we hadn't experienced anything of the such. The food was not what we ordered, and it took nearly two hours to get it 12 minutes away. I asked for them to send a replacement for the incorrect food, and I was spoken to rudely on the phone, by the owner, whom kind of implied I was just some Karen trying to ruin their night and then they finally sent it two hours later, again. They then sent me my food, but they absolutely slathered it with crazy amounts of garlic powder and salt, which actually didn't bother me at the time because I had a cold and it was harder to taste, but I could tell that was not how they usually made the food, and my husband was telling me it was very strong and inedible. I haven't been there since, and I waited to write my review because I was hoping to hear it would get better, or maybe that owner wouldn't last long. However, the service and the quality seem to be consistent since then, from what I hear from other friends and neighbors that still order there. It's very sad because this was definitely a place we frequented prior, but Rosa's in Capron has always been excellent, so I do recommend them for better service and...
