Got veggie pad Thai today for lunch and it smelt like straight fish. The smell was unbelievably strong i can’t believe they even served it to me. I couldn’t stomach the smell alone but i still took a bite anyway to at least try it and oh my g** it tasted like fish. That it was all i could taste I instantly threw up in my mouth. Maybe it is because i am pregnant and my sense of smell is stronger as well as my stomach being more sensitive i don’t know but i have never had pad Thai before that tasted like straight fish. On top of that the noodles were very chewy. I was beyond disappointed i told my waiter all of this and at first her and another worker who came over refused to take it fully off the bill they offered to remake it i told them no thank you as i lost my appetite. I asked if they could just take it off the bill and they said no they offered taking 50% off but not fully taking it off reason being because i had a bite of it. I got frustrated and straight up told them that was ridiculous. After they saw me get frustrated over that they offered to take it fully off. I have came here before and had curry and it was very good but this experience alone was so bad it has me never wanting to come back again. If you come here i do not recommend the pad thai at all. I also had the fried chicken dumplings today and they were burnt. :( I do not recommend those either. I do recommend the duck spring rolls and the regular spring rolls those...

Me and girlfriend decided to try Thai thara for the first time as a date night and I was not impressed by the food unfortunately. The atmosphere is beautiful and our server was very kind. However, I ordered their Tom yum soup for $13 and it was very poor quality in my opinion. There was an overwhelming amount of mushrooms, huge chunks of tomatoes , and very little chicken. When I let the server know I didn’t like it he went to ask a manager or family employee and they told him that he still had to charge me 50% because it was already made. I was upset, but I understood it being a family owned business. He offered to remake it/ fix it , but I had lost my appetite at that point. I politely agreed to pay the 50% , but the server ended up removing the cost from our bill completely which we appreciated very much. The pad Thai was good, but the veggie rolls came with very little shrimp. Sometimes there will always be a negative experience when it comes to dining, but I know they have other foods that I will like more. I think that when it comes to food people should be able to send it back if it has been prepared poorly. We don’t go out to eat often so when we do it is important that we enjoy...

So I’ve been here before for dinner and lunch. Today my husband and I went for dinner. I ordered a pad Thai, not spicy. First off it took a while to get our waters and for them to come back to get our order even though we said we were ready to order. But my pad Thai came back super spicy. I told the waitress and she apologized and after drinking 2 cups of water. She told me don’t worry about it, she wouldn’t charge for the pad Thai. I said ok. We waited to see if they would drop us our check they didn’t and I saw another customer go to the counter to pay so I went to the counter. When I went to pay I saw the pad Thai charge on it. When I asked the girl about it she said oh no I wasn’t charging you for the 1st pad Thai…. I was in such shock like you screwed that up, not me and you have the nerve to tell me you were going to charge me for that and didn’t even discount or accommodate the inconvenience for messing up my order. The food is good but with that service you won’t see me or my coworkers or family again. Very...

Went with friends and the ambiance of the place was cozy and welcoming. Our server was very courteous and stellar when it came to service. We started with some mango mai tai and their classic thai tea in which both were delicious. We then ordered some fried tofu that included some nice sour sauce with crushed peanuts. However, the calamari we ordered were obviously the kind you get that’s already pre-made and frozen so that was a bit disappointing. Our entreé’s were the pad thai and their chef’s special Spicy Chicken which were delicious. The pad thai serving was on the smaller side and we’d prefer the bean spouts to not be as overcooked but it was decent. Then the spicy chicken was good flavor-wise but the breading was a lot thicker than the actual piece of meat and the bowl of jasmine rice included was a small scoop amount. Overall serving sizes fall on the smaller spectrum but the taste was pretty decent.

We ordered a couple appetizers, calamari and curry soup with indian pancakes. I wasn't a fan of the soup but the calamari was nice and crunchy and served with 2 different sauces for dipping. Sweet and sour and sweet and spicy. I ordered the Panang Curry, but the chicken was over cooked and dry. Loved the big chunks of veggies but you need a knife to cut them up, but ones not provided so I used a fork and it's messy. I asked for mild spice, but what I got was bland, basil would have helped. My husband's drunkin noodle was amazing with vegetables al dente and extra wide noodles. Could have used more sauce and a knife. The service was excellent and our waiter was tentative and polite. I would return again an hope my order would be better because my husband said he's was amazing.
