Church's Texas Chicken — Restaurant in Port Arthur

Where do I start? No white meat, no biscuits(though you aren't told that until you drive off, get down the street and come back- instead you're lied to and told that the family meal you ordered "doesn't come with biscuits- never offered to replace with another menu item.. probably bc there was so little to choose from anyway). The chicken stinked like it was fried in old grease, the chicken's batter was hard and super thick and the chicken all together tasted like it had been sitting for hours! When we peeled away at it, the inside batter looked like an actual Asian dumpling! The coleslaw tasted rancid! There was no mashed potatoes, no mac and cheese, the fries were old and cold...we had ordered a family meal which came with three sides! What was there left to choose??smh the fact that they'd just been robbed recently should make them appreciate their loyal customers. Instead, this place was horrible! Very friendly service. They must have just gotten extremely busy by the time we got there. But the food was made fresh and the cashier was nice. The music was a little loud in the back, but the workers were happily working and getting everyone's orders ready in a timely fashion. I've never been to this location before but it was a good experience. If we ever come out this way again and are in the mood for spicy chicken tenders, we will come back.
