I thought it'd be a good idea to share my encounter with the owner of this resturant as well as his very unsupportive staff before the night was over. A little over an hour ago I drove into the parking lot to order dinner. It's customary to order while outside and pick up in the drive thru to avoid long wait times. After calling my order in, I was advised that the food would be ready in 10 minutes, which was fine as there were 3 cars ahead of me, so by the time those cars received their orders, I estimated that my food would be ready. I got to the window and received my food after paying exact change, $27.45 in cash, and receiving no receipt. My commute home is approximately 5 minutes. I got home and took one bite from each food item on my plate, and to my surprise, the food was ice cold. Not hot, not luke warm, just cold. I immediately called into the resturant to inform them of this and wanted to hear what solutions they had. I was advised to come back to the resturant WITH the food, so I proceeded. When I returned, I went inside the lobby area instead of the drive way so that I could speak professionally with the manager. Instead of talking through the issue with me, he walked to the back kitchen area mid conversation with the food in hand. Prior to him returning, I asked the clerk "Hey, you don't think he's going to reboil that same food is he"? She replied "No". To my "not so surprise", he shortly returned from the back kitchen with steamy food, when I opened the container, it was literally the same food I returned, reboiled, with the same bite missing from each food item. This is one type of cross-contamination, "Food to food". The food should have never been taken to the kitchen where other customers food was being prepared. Secondly, the food could have possibly been boiled in the same food boil as other customers food which I cannot confirm. And lastly, WE ARE IN THE MIDDLE OF A PANDEMIC. I explained to the owner that because none of us know who has been exposed to this deadly virus, he potentially exposed me and other customers to COVID-19 due to trying to save money and not offer fresh food. He violated multiple codes Health Department codes and I will be reaching out to the Health Department to inform them, the BBB, and the local news to inform customers that they may be potentially exposed to Covid as well as food contamination. I also have video of the manager counting the food items with his bare hands (no gloves), 1 by 1, and then returning to the kitchen to continue cooking other customers food items without washing his hands. He refused to make it right several times stating that "He's never had this problem before", and refusing my right to a refund stating that "You left with the food and ate it, so I cannot offer a refund". This is not ok, I will not be spending my money at this establishment in the future, and I will inform friends and family of the issue so that they don't spend there either. Eat at your own risk, and know that they DO reboil food that has been taken out of the resturant and into customers homes. It's called...
Read moreI am a regular customer & the food is good. But the customer service sucks. Their are kids working that apparently don't want too & tonight I called to place an order got a live person on the phone something happens we hang up. When I attempt to call back someone is picking up but not saying anything. I go up there & ask for the manager because I have experienced problems before & the manager is conveniently never there. Finally got to speak with him & his attitude is bad. REALLY. They won't get my money again I don't care what the food taste like. Your not the only business in this area THAT has good food your just closer to me that's all. Customer service is everything & if I'm spending my money ~ I want to feel like my business is appreciated period...
Read moreBEST LOCAL SEAFOOD AND WINGS...and MORE!!! Very delicious, large variety from homemade gumbo, fried pork chops, to their most popular dish, the salt and pepper chicken wings. Anything you choose on the menu will knock your socks off. If y’all haven’t been dipping everything in the homemade tartar sauce you’re doing it wrong. Pay the extra $ for the sauce, it’s so worth it. Also, my favorite is when crawfish season comes. I love getting mine with spicy garlic butter and extra onions, thinking about it already gets my mouth drooling. Sometimes the lines get long, so try to call in your order or even wait and eat your food dine-in. It’s so worth it to eat everything fresh because you KNOW it’s good when you’re eating your platter and already thinking about...
