Vince's Seafood — Restaurant in Port Arthur

Food is good but the service/customer service was HORRIBLE on this last visit. It's NEVER been like that before.

We placed our order before we got in to Bridge City, Texas. Thinking that would be ample time as I told the young lady that I could be at their establishment in 15-20 mins. She said that was fine and that our food should be ready by the time we get to Port Arthur. We get there and there is little acknowledgement, food wasn't ready, and the young man at the window was SUPER RUDE (him and the young lady was more interested in getting on their cell phones instead of helping us). All of this lead to disagreements and a demand for returned payment. We expressed our concerns to the manager/owner...HE ACTED as if he wasn't too concerned with the way the employees handled us as customers. The food is good although a bit pricey considering Hung's offers basic fish and shrimp plates with a choice of fried rice or french fires without any extra charge and a few dollars cheaper. Vince's has a bigger selection of items though. I stopped visiting Vince's because they process debit & credit card transactions deceitfully. They do not disclose that they will charge extra if you pay with a card. Imagine my surprise when I got the receipt and the quoted price was different than what was charged. The owner sneered and told me he charges the fee after the fact. Bad business practice! I haven't eaten there in over 3 years and never will now. Bait and switch...

Everything is through drive thru 😥 First off wanted grilled. They say they don't grill anything. Well they use too! Ordered 6 shrimp and 6 oysters combo. Get home which is maybe 4 minutes away. Food was still hot. But shrimp was butterflied (didn't ask for butterflied). They must of flattened the butterfly with a meat tenderizer; with the crust lucky if it was 1/4 inch thick.
