Unfortunately I’ve been disappointed after both of my encounters here. The atmosphere is lovely, and well decorated. The staff is friendly, polite, and reasonable. However all three drinks I’ve ordered have not been worth $8. I’ve had boba from many different places over the years, I’ve tried all kinds of flavors, so my palette is not limited. I was excited to try the strawberry yakult because I like both of those items separately, but when Mochinut put them together it was watery and poorly flavored. Not enough yakult, and not enough strawberry flavoring, and was like drinking sour water. I chopped it up to myself just not liking the drink, so I went a different day to try something else: the strawberry matcha one. Again, I love matcha, I make it at home occasionally and I love strawberries especially with matcha. Beautiful blending of flavors. Not at Mochinut though. Once again, I was not impressed. The matcha tasted old: stale, bitter, and slimy. The color of the matcha did not look fresh either, it again looked old so instead of a bright healthy green it looked grayed. When mixed together it was not creamy, frothy, or refreshing, it was hard to sip through and I couldn’t think of what to add to it to make it taste better (more milk, more sugar, more water, etc) it seemed just a bad combination of old flavors. The third drink I tried was the dragonfruit mango tea, which had pleasant flavor and aroma but very watered down. None of these drinks are worth this much money, which is unfortunate because I wanted to like it so bad. I will stick to other boba places, but Mochinut—a supposedly boba centered business—is not where I will be spending any more money. The mozzarella rice snacks are...

While in line, employee yelled out that it was an hour wait for the hot dogs. I wasn’t in the mood for a 8$ corn dog with an hour wait so we just got a dozen donuts. We’ve been to the Sarasota location a few times, in the beginning the Sarasota location was excellent, and that went downhill fast over time.
Anyways. Donuts here were pretty good - that oil taste was there which I remember from the other location as well. Not cheap for donuts. Dozen for 34$ is pretty serious. Wife got the coffee boba without the boba because they were out of boba, it took a couple minutes to get the drink. Although delicious 7$ for a cute cup that’s instagramable yet mostly full of ice is a scam in my book.
I miss the good old days when there was value in things we purchased. 40$ for a box of donuts and one coffee? Yikes
PS I asked where I could get some napkins, the employee said they are on the tables, walked around the entire place and each napkin...

Was in town visiting when my sister mentioned this place. When she started describing the food items (like taki fried corn dogs and elote fried cheese sticks to name a few) let’s just say my interest was peaked.
The place was small and quaint with a very clean modern look. Definitely photogenic.
Not a huge fan of hotdogs or corn dogs but I was left surprised with how delicious they were! I enjoyed the variety and flavors.
The people were also friendly and inviting making my visit even better.
They also offer boba! But I was a little bummed out because even though I finished my drink, there was still a bunch of tapioca left at the bottom which was very hard to get to because of style of cup/can they use. Still though, the boba was good 👍
I wish they had a place like this where I lived… but it’s probably for the better cause I would definitely gain 15lbs if they were anywhere near me lol
Spent about $60 for 4...
