Not only is the food here EXCEPTIONAL, so is the service and ownership. My grandmother loves their homemade, quality food and says that is is absolutely delicious. She has tried everything from the meatloaf, coleslaw, beef tips, chicken parm, chopped sirloin, fish dinner, and more. Back in the day, my grandmother was a phenomenal cook and this is as close to home cooking as you can get if not better, she says. I live in another state so I DoorDash the food to her often. When DoorDash had a glitch in their system (not the restaurants fault) that kept cancelling the order, not only did the restaurant offer to fill the order, they actually delivered it my grandma at no charge. Found this cute little place online and decided to try it. I’m so glad that I did. I was greeted by Patty one of the servers who was attentive and had a great sense of humor. The guests at other tables also joined in to laugh as we chatted. I ordered a vegetable Benedict which was loaded with assorted fresh vegetables. An absolutely delicious breakfast. They also make fresh iced coffee, which you can’t find at other establishments. The owner Judy is also a lovely and wonderful hostess. She also comes out and talks to the guests and gets to know them personally. She will even ask your name. On Thursday October 17 my mother and I stopped into the hometown grill where a little later my brother and his fiance joined, we were greeted right away with a smile and a welcome. We were waited on with a fast friendly waitress who continued making sure everything was perfect for us. The four of us enjoyed our meals and our full bellies without spending alot of money. The plates were amazing to see they looked amazing my eggs were done the way I liked them and the flavor was amazing. The reason why I gave them a four star is due to the fact that they only had milk or half and half for the coffee, I only use heavy whipping cream as well as my mother.
