La Salsitas Express — Restaurant in Port Neches

My family and I went to eat here and it was our first time ordering so we didn't know the kids menu didn't come with sodas, which was ok, but the cashier seemed frustrated with our lack of knowledge about it (but it's her job help and be kind)... then I saw there were two prices for Nachos and when I asked why one price was more, she got bothered and said "it's the meat"...no further explanation...like does the cheaper nachos only have chicken available or what? The cashier just seemed so unhelpful, NOT welcoming at all, entitled, and honestly just rude and a brat. We left and didn't order. I'm so glad we didn't waste our money here. We went to El Refu instead, and their customer service was sooo much better. The ladies there were smiling and friendly towards me and my family. Managers please please teach your staff that a little manners, friendliness, and kindness...

I was in the area after a farmers market and my group and I had a craving for chips and salsa. When ordering, there was a loud grinding sound that was super loud so we couldn’t hear each other. When we asked the cashier to repeat, she didn’t speak any louder so it was lowkey awkward 😭😭. We each ordered chips and queso and salsa. When we opened the containers, the queso was the nacho cheese from a can, and the salsa tasted like straight up marinara pizza sauce. Super disappointing and not worth...

The food is delicious. The employees are super nice. I always get the mini tacos. They are 1.99 each and there's several different meat choices. My husband gets the burrito. It's $7.99 and believe me it's worth it you won't need anything else besides the burrito. If you don't know about the different meat choices or what things come with just ask.
