Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Port Neches

We were trying to order ahead and get the 1/2 off diacount, but the app always gives me trouble. As soon as i pulled up the car hop came to my car with 23 shakes and was trying to give them to me as he/she read out the order from the receipt in his hand. Im honest and nice so i told him it wasnt mine but id take it if he wanted me to. He off course looked confused as he smiled and tried to figure where he went wrong. It took him a short 10 min. To ask every vehicle on other side and someone finally claimed it. We had a strawberry cheesecake shake, and it was not what I thought it would be. Just don't think it has ANY chunks of cheesecake or texture because it does not. It was like drinking thick milk. I had ordered a 1/2 off soda, a route 44 root beer, and it was terribly flat or tasted like carbonation. Yuk! Let's say that the 99 cent root beer 2-litter at market basket blew it away. I miss the trays that clipped on to your vehicle...

I ordered the new steak, bacon, cheese with onions on Texas toast, well it was horrible, there was hardly anything between what appeared to be regular sliced bread which wasn't even toasted. I don't know who the cook was that day but you could definitely tell they didn't take pride in their work. Seriously I know it's not a high class restaurant but still if you are going to work, do it with integrity. I use to work for Sonic when I was 17 years old and we were trained correctly and surely didn't send food out like what was sent out to me. Also to some people eating out is a treat because everything has gotten expensive. Please make sure that wherever you work that you enjoy where you work because that order was horrible and I won't be returning. 4-19-2018 at 3pm, The cook that worked on this particular day needed to put png pride in the food they served the customer. Not only did it TASTE disgusting, but it LOOKED the same. The car hop needed to take my complaint more seriously, especially when I asked for more napkins to remove the tremendous amount of mayo. Also, they provided no eating utensil, as is customary with this food product, no peppermint... glad i wasn't headed to work! 4-18-18 2:30 pm young lady taking orders should put more effort to ensure the orders are correct. I know these are kids, which is why i even gave a rating at all, because they can use the constructive criticism in a positive way. However, with THREE consecutive days of deplorable service I could see absolutely no other rating to give this sonic (until improvement is made) other...
