Edit: judging by other individual reviews, this is indeed how you roll, at least at this location. I've worked in fast food and appreciate how stressful it can be juggling orders that don't seem to slow down. Your staff are human, stuff happens - I get that. Quality control on a very basic level seems like it is too much to handle, at least at this location. I have no interest paying a delivery fee and tip knowing there is a 75% chance they will forget something or give me the wrong item. I hate wondering if checking the box for a sandwich to be cut in half will be the request that turns the order from manageable into something requiring an advanced degree in analytics to decipher or if my vegetarian wife will bite into a chunk of ham out of either spite or oversight. It's not always the food or service that are issues. One time I ordered online for delivery for as soon as possible, then noticed on the receipt it was scheduled to be delivered the following day and was surprised it arrived an hour later (less surprised at the forgotten pickle with the order).
Your food is often decent and staff are friendly enough, but figure out a way to check over an order before serving it to someone at the store. If drivers are stressed out from crisscrossing town, have someone else make sure orders are complete before they leave the store. If bread is burned or an ingredient is bad, don't serve it. If someone requests no mustard and you accidentally start a sandwich with it, don't try to scrape it off and...
Read moreI’m really bummed to make this review as I have had good experiences there with customer service, but it just seems like the workers don’t care anymore.. I have had this happen now 3 times where my sandwich was made wrong causing me to be quite sick. I have a gluten and dairy intolerance that is quite severe and I make it known right away, and then repeat it a couple more times due to the upset these ingredients cause my body. I have thrown away 2 sandwiches from this location after telling the staff 3 times I cannot have any cheese or gluten hence the lettuce wrap. It even said “no cheese” “on a lettuce wrap” on the receipt and still I had cheese added to my sandwich. Today, was my last time I will be going to this location due to it happening again. I understand forgetting to a point… I suppose, but when it’s verbally repeated 3 times and then also written on the receipt and still there’s cheese added? That’s unacceptable and seems downright negligent. I went back to the store and had to explain that Panko bread crumbs is bread.. and has gluten in it, hence why I asked for NO BREAD and then had to explain that Parmesan is also cheese.. and I can’t have any cheese due to my severe intolerance. I would have thought the workers there knew that saying no bread or cheese meant just that. So...
Read moreI come through this Jimmy John’s frequently, and although workers aren’t usually overwhelmingly friendly, I’ve never been treated like this. I came through with a friend and we ordered dinner- 4 sandwiches. I requested that mine both be the extra large 18” size, and I often eat one and then take the other half to work the next day. When we left, we realized that I had received a normal sandwich, but they did the other sandwiches correctly. We went back through the drive through, and I agreed to pay for another #1, as the first time she had keyed the sandwich in wrong when I ordered. That’s fine, I’ll pay for it. I didn’t pay for it the first time. Today upon opening this replacement sandwich to eat it, I realized that not only did the bread feel incredibly hard, more so than usual, but they also purposefully did not put anything on my sandwich other than meat and cheese. The employee had a bad attitude, so I should have checked my second sandwich in the parking lot. She was heavier set with long dark hair, and this was in the evening. I don’t think it’s that much to just ask for...
