Pam's Country Restaurant — Restaurant in Port Richey

I'm from Texas! I learned about the town of Port Richey because of Hurricane Irma. I went there to work, and one of my applicants there became a person that I admired because she was blind but always kept a positive attitude and she kept in contact with me even after my work was finished in Florida. On Christmas that applicant reached out to me to wish me a Merry Christmas and I told her the same to her but come to find out her Christmas was not going too well because she had nothing to eat. Everything was closed, so I called Pam's Country Resturant and a young lady by the name of Angie answered the phone I told her the situation I wanted to pay to have food delivered to this young lady. Angie said she will try to deliver something to her when she got off but it will be after 1pm well Angie called me back and asked for the address and let me speak to a lady by the name of Pam and it weren't until after I was writting this that I realized that Pam is the same name as the restaurant but Pam stopped doing what she was doing and made a wonderful Christmas for this young lady! My family and I went to Pam's restaurant for breakfast. To start everything off we come in and just stand there while some employees are just standing around. The, who I assume, owner told a server to seat us. Low and behold she becomes our server. She got our drink orders and dropped them off. We finally order and my wife explains that my nephew and myself were going to split one breakfast special because he does not eat alot. She did not know what was in the special we ordered, it was a potatoe pancake combo and consisted of 2 potatoe pancakes, 2 eggs, 2 bacon. That's exactly what we told our server when she ask what it came with. Our food comes and she was so untrained that she ordered double of the special without even trying to say, hey let me clarify that this is correct. So we had an entire plate of food still left over cause it was alot. She didn't check up on us. She walked right past our table and my wife had to stop her just to get a to go box. The service was absolutely horrible and we will not be returning. We cashed out at the front door and the owner saw that we were upset and didn't bother saying much of 2 words to us. Yup, This update is just to confirm that they are STILL AWESOME!!!! The employees are FANTABULOUS!! And the food still comes our hot and fresh!! If you haven't had the home fries deep fried, ya need to. I haven't had a single thing here that wasn't absolutely delicious.

First time visiting, and I believe we're hooked. Lol Employees are SO super nice!!! Very attentive, and I love the fact that they help each other with their tables!! We never ran out of drinks, and I think we spoke to everyone that works there at LEAST once! Love, love, love!!!! The food didn't take long to come out, and it was cooked to order perfectly. I mean, all we ordered was a burger and fries and a wrap and fries (this time), but it was still SO GOOD. Such good flavor!!! I can't wait to try some of the greek dishes!! We could have easily shared one of the dishes we ordered today and left there satisfied! The portions are quite generous (and this was only 30 minutes before closing!)
