I can't rate the food because I ended up not having any. I never do the bad reviews but after what happened today at this bussiness I felt that I needed to. I was exited to try this place as I liked the pictures and the reviews and went with family to try a couple of things that looked good. When it was my turn to order the cashier was super nice and even gave me some recommendations and ended ordering a frappe and Dubai strawberry, when he told me the total i was a little surprised as I thought I had seen the prices on the menu that they provided but I paid thinking maybe I saw something wrong. Once I sat down to wait for the order I started looking at the menu and compared what I was charged and I was overcharged on both items, between the 2 things I was overcharged about $3.00 more than what was displayed on their menus, not a lot but if they are doing this with every item its enough, still I approached the cashier and he was confused as well and proceeded to ask a girl that was there about it and that is when everything went downhill with the service. She got an attitude like I was annoying her even though I had not talked to her at all and she said that those were the correct prices and that their prices had gone up but they had not gotten to update them in the menu. I said OK because I felt that she was really annoyed with me. I waited until she went to the back and approached the cashier and told him that if they hadn't started my order to please cancel it, I really felt that I didn't asked anything bad and her attitud was not at all warranted. I guess she was a manager or the cashier was newer because he ended up having to ask her to help him with the refund. That is when her attitude got worst and she really was huffing and puffing and cracking her nails really aggressively on the cash register. She tried to give me only a partial refund just one of the items and I said to her that I didnt want my order, she went on to tell me that she didn't understand me because the difference in price was the tax. I showed her in the receipt were the tax is charged separately and then she proceeded to tell me that it was a charge for using my debit card. At this point I didnt want to have any argument with her as it seemed that she wanted to argue with me even when I kept quiet and only answer her when she kept telling me different stories for the difference in price. I told her that I just wanted my refund and that it was OK and I guess that annoyed her even more, she didn't even wanted to give me the original receipt and just provided the refund one. My problem was with her attitude towards a question that was valid and then trying to change the story 3 times on why the difference made me feel that they try to take advantage that not everyone looks at what they pay versus what its listed on the menu. Also I know that the difference in price was not because I pay with a debit card because 1 the difference in price was way higher than the typical 3 or 4% that its charged when you pay with a credit card and its illegal to charge a fee when you pay with a debit card and if the bussiness is charging a fee for credit cards they are supposed to have a sign letting people know and believe me i check just in case it was a mistake on them but there is no sign anywhere even for the credit card charge. I know its long but I felt that I needed to bring attention to this and if this is the way they do bussiness and they are ok with this I won't give them...

What a fantastic little find! Café Dolce Amore is a charming small business with cozy indoor counter seating and a few lovely outdoor tables--perfect for a casual bite or coffee break.
They specialize in Colombian pastries and breads, and let me tell you, everything tastes like it was made with love. We ordered the Bandeja Paisa, and it did not disappoint. The meat was tender, flavorful, and clearly high-quality. The arepa was freshly made, warm, and delicious--just like home cooking.
A major shoutout to Franco, the barista, who is truly the heart of this place. He's friendly, incredibly knowledgeable, and makes a perfect cappuccino--beautifully balanced and smooth. We finished with an alfajor for dessert, and it was the cherry on top: soft, sweet, and melt-in-your-mouth.
I will definitely be back. Do yourself a favor and stop in to see what specials they're cooking up--you...
Read moreCafé Dolce Amore instantly became one of my favorite spots. The moment I walked in, I was hit with the comforting smell of fresh pastries and incredible coffee—it honestly felt like walking into a warm hug.
The pastries looked so good I had to stop and just take it all in for a moment. When I opened the menu, I couldn’t put it down—everything sounded amazing, and I found myself wanting to try it all.
What really made the experience special were the owners. The wife, from Colombia, and the husband, from the Dominican Republic, were both so welcoming and genuine. They took the time to explain the menu, share stories behind the dishes, and made me feel like a guest in their home.
The vibe, the food, the people—it all came together perfectly. This place has soul, and I’ll...
