Carvel — Restaurant in Port Saint Lucie

The staff are very friendly and the ice cream is good… my rating for three stars though is because they roll each persons ice cream into the toppings rather than putting it on top with a spoon… that’s odd to me, especially when so many people have different food allergies and sensitivity these days… you have dairy free options but then roll dairy ice cream into the toppings and then do the same for a dairy free order as well… that’s not right. Peanut allergies too… that could be horrible. I understand that food contamination can happen and you have disclaimers for that… but doing stuff like this is just asking for something bad to happen. They have a sign up for a double cone $3.99. I was rang up for a small cone. Only a dollar more, I brought it to attention to the girl with the black hair. She said there is no button on the screen for that and "we've changed our prices then." I handed her the sign and said you might want to put this back there or fix the price. False advertisements are illegal. She took the sign to the back. We sat outside to enjoy the ice-cream and I watched another girl with attitude slam the sign back in the place it was in.
