Hole 'N Da Wall Seafood — Restaurant in Port Vincent

So my daughter and I normally count down the days until crawfish season. We got our crawfish from Ron's in DS for several years until we moved close to Port Vincent. One Fri after work I stopped at Hole in Da Wall when I saw their sign saying "CRAWFISH". After eating so much that I couldn't move, I knew I had a new favorite place to get crawfish! But then things got even better... First, their prices are much better than Ron's and they never run out of crawfish! But after a few visits, I realized that I knew the man bagging my crawfish. Well, I knew from TV. He is Jacob Landry from "SWAMP PEOPLE"... The son of Troy Landry, " The King of the swamp". I have a new respect for him now. Not only does this man work hard making sure his place is running well, but not one time have I seen him use his father for advertising purposes. Obviously, he doesn't need to, but that is something that really built my respect for him. So... The awesome, fast,smiling service, the always clean place, the prices, and most of all, the best crawfish...

Heard such great things about this place so decided to give it a try. Got boiled crawfish, boiled shrimp, Potatoes, corn and sausage. The shrimp were overcooked. Boiled way too long, very very difficult to peel. Had no seasoning, but were nice size. Crawfish were not seasoned, very bland. Were cooked good, easy to peel. Potatoes were awful. Didn't even taste like a potato. Don't know how you can mess up Potatoes, no seasoning. Very bland. The corn was good. The sausage was a disgrace. Worse sausage ever had. Again no seasoning. Not sure if they had a bad day and was off on their seasoning. But I won't be...

Hole N DE Wall Seafood has the best Seafood around. They have the first and now only Crawfish John Schneider best known as Bo Duke from the Dukes of Hazzard has me order from them. He says he's had Crawfish from two other places and this place always has the biggest and best tasting. He says the other local Crawfish places have small and when cooked mushy crawfish.
