I am writing to formally complain about my recent experience at the Waffle House located across from a hotel in Georgia. On the evening of [specific date], my partner and I decided to dine at your restaurant as it was one of the few places open late, and we preferred not to eat in our hotel room.During our visit, we encountered several issues with the service. Our waitress forgot my waffle order three times, despite bringing syrup and butter to the table. She proceeded to serve other customers and, when she returned, asked if we needed anything else. I reminded her about the waffles, to which she responded with surprise, indicating she had forgotten them yet again.The food quality was mediocre, with the eggs being the only item I found satisfactory. However, the primary concern arose when we stood up to leave. Both my partner and I discovered white spots on the back of our clothing. A waitress admitted that these spots were caused by bleach from a recently cleaned area where we had been seated. Despite acknowledging this mistake, the only compensation offered was to remove the cost of one waffle from our bill.Given the inconvenience and damage caused to our clothing, we were too exhausted to argue and returned to our hotel to shower and rest.I believe this situation warrants a more appropriate resolution. Read moreWaffle House all the time is good but, here really leaves a lot to be desired... The attention was not good, my order came to another client, that client complained and took away the plate I had to give it to another; that other exclaimed that it was not what he had ordered, suddenly another dish arrived at my table that also turned out to be not what he had ordered and, The Chef with glove in hand, takes the bacon out of my plate to give it to the other client, from another plate two sausages arrive that I had not ordered that either and, that is how those changes went, exchanging looks of astonishment among all the clients plus those affected, including me by the way of serving, by trying to please, guessing what we had ordered ending in error on errors and, finishing eating what we had not ordered together with a cup of cold coffee since the coffee was served cold... I think they need more training, more experience to work the night shift, know how to take orders well, have a little more hygiene, clean tables and cutlery... Improve those details or close why the group that came out with me, none of them liked the attention, the service and the hygiene, but we had to eat there for the reason that we had to continue traveling, each one took different directions but, with only one idea of not stopping to eat here again...
Read moreThey do not answer the phone nor can you order on the web site ahead of time. I called first and the voicemail said that you must come inside to order take out, so after driving there; my order was refused!!! The waitress yelled across the restaurant that she is not taking any take out orders with her back turned away from the two people waiting at the register. There was only two other full tables to serve, and I do understand they had just opened the doors at 7:00am. The staff was completely rude!! The cook, and another waitress was totally in agreement with this response by repeating her comment and just looking at us walk out. After returning to work with no breakfast; after work I returned to speak to the manager. When I approached the register and saw Unit Manager Diane on her badge and witnessed how she was also turning customers away; I decided to just leave and write this review. They do have a job hire table with flyers by the entrance door and you will CLEARLY see why, if you visit. This would have been my second visit and now it's probably my last or for another few years. There are plenty of better places to choose from but this place here is a very very poor choice at this time. Now I will wait for the baloney of lies from this response that these places like to add after...
