She made me cry on my birthday. I ordered through the drive through, and when the lady couldnāt understand me she got frustrated at me and angrily told me to pull up to the window. I wanted to have a good day so I tried to have a nice talk and she rolled her eyes, visibly annoyed I was dining there as well as trying to be nice. The cashier was a sweetheart and greeted my dog, this was the manager who made me cry. I handed her a $50 and she said ā I donāt take bills like that in the morning, scolding her staff. I felt very bad for the cashier who kept a smile, the tone was unnerving and disrespectful, almost abusive. The cashier took a small frown and patiently motioned for me to wait while her boss ripped the money from her hand to go to the back to get change. I was never asked if I had another form of payment. When the boss came back around she threw her hands around exclaiming she didnāt have it. I said I have $8 to pay, sweetly, trying to rescue the cashier. At this point the kitchen staff was to the rescue and a very very sweet cook who was there said I got the change in my car baby! To me, ask she quickly made her way to her car, the manager was still there shaking her head, visibly mad, and pointed forward. I didnāt realize she was gesturing for me to pull forward..as she rudely said nothing except ā go pull forwardā with a look that said why didnāt you move when I pointed and I hate my life and this place with everyone in it. Iām truly not exaggerating, as a manager myself. I felt terrible for everyone involved the cook then grabbed the change and gave it to me saying here you go honey. I believe the cook here, a nice old woman, would make a better manager, and Iām not sure how the manager, as someone with this kind of people skills made it into her position. I left feeling upset, sad, and with a terrible start to my birthday. The two other ladies were very sweet to me, and I feel so bad for them having to work in an environment like that, as if they arenāt stuck and just making the best of their situation. I will not be returning to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreToday we were given the wrong drink. No biggie, right? I told the Drive-thru girl nicely "Hey sorry, this is the wrong drink, it's tea, we ordered pepsi". She then gave me an attitude "That's your drink!" and turned around to talk to someone else. About a minute later she turns back around. I said nicely "excuse me", she got another attitude "I know! I heard you!". As she's pouring a new drink, I put the wrong drink on the window counter because I don't have room to put another drink anywhere. She yells at me with attitude "You can't do that! you can't do that!" I tell the supervisor she needs to fix that girls attitude. Drive thru girl said "excuuuuuse me" to me. Supervisor tells her "don't do it, don't do it". Drive thru girl proceeds to mouth off to me. I've worked fast food, you never speak to a customer like that. I'm in shock her supervisor didn't do anything about it! I've been a manager and I would have fired her on the spot. The fact that this girl was comfortable treating a customer like that in front of her supervisor really says a lot about the people they hire here. I'm here 1-2x a week because my daughter is obsessed with their mac and cheese. I won't be coming back until that girl is gone. Given this locations turn around....I give it another week or so? They can't keep anyone longer than a couple weeks. They also close the lobby very often, it used to be because they were short staffed but I'm noticing that it's closed even when they have enough people.
EDIT TO ADD: I contacted Bojangles corporate twice about this matter and they never contacted me back. It's been over 2 months and we still...
