Subway — Restaurant in Portage

Rude, rude, rude. I went to the Subway inside Walmart on route 6 in Portage, IN at about 7:10 PM on May 6th and I was starving. The 1st girl was helping a man with 2 daughters. The 2nd girl yelled at me, "What do you want to order!" I told her which signature wrap. Then she yelled, "What kind of cheese?!" I replied provolone. She then yelled, "what veggies do you want!?"I repeated the signature wrap on the board. She yelled back, "you still have to pick everything out!." She then put the wrap with cheese on the counter and put the chicken in the microwave for 25 seconds. She turned to the next person in line, a lady with 3 or 4 kids and yelled at her too. She managed to make all their sandwiches, heat the meat put the veggies on in about 7 or 8 minutes while I stood there and the cheese sitting out. She then, finally took my meat out of the microwave after 7 or 8 minutes and slapped it on the wrap and yelled at me again,"what veggies!!!!????" I said I didnt understand why she was making me stand so long when she was taking care of all the people behind me? "What sauce do you want??? " I told her, she wrapped up the meat real fast and started to put it in a bag. I turned around and left her rude self standing with the sandwich and went to the Subway in Hobart where they treat people with respect. Isn't a signature wrap already predetermined? Second time in a month I placed my order through the drive thru and when I got to the window the employee had to ask me yet again what kind of sandwich and cookies I had. Also tells me one total and charges me and when I ask where the drink I ordered is he says oh I forgot to charge you and had to run my card a second time. I had the same individual both times and this time I told him this is the second time you’ve done this to me and he shrugged his shoulders and stated well it got busy so... we don’t have a set screen like McDonald’s so it’s kind of like Chinese telephone. I wouldn’t have complained really if he seemed apologetic or had a better response to this not being the first time this happened. His answer was very unprofessional. I understand he’s working a drive thru window but there should still be some proper customer service. This employee shouldn’t be working the window if he is going to be rude and incompetent like that. I also received no napkins in my bag not a huge...

My subway experience at this restaurant located on Willowcreek road portage, IN was more than enjoyable! The staff was extremely professional in a friendly manner and made me feel welcomed as an individual, and to top it off my Italian BMT sandwich was more than fresh it was made right! The bread was soft, the lettuce and banana peppers were moist and enjoyable. i preferably don’t use dressings on my sandwich and let the lettuce and banana peppers moisten up the well placed ham and pepperoni for my sandwich.
