We ordered the Mediterranean Chicken with rice and vegetables, and everything was cold ... and one of the dishes I had to return it because the chicken was hard ... we did not return it immediately because we were in a hurry for it for a long time it took them to serve us ... They never brought refills of the soda, nor water, they had to be asked to take them ... and all the waitresses get into the kitchen at the same time, and neither in the service bar to the professional driver restaurant only with customers, row to enter and pay, and neither he is managerial, nor is the tables to ask how is everything? ... I saw a person who had to stop to look for a container to carry food, because the girl attending, it took more than 15 minutes to come, another had a coffee and left, and there was almost half the food hour later because he did not return, as you are going to put a plate if the person is not at the table, it gets cold !!! ... Read moreI have been a patron of Denny's for many years and I have to say I am extremely disappointed in the management and staff of your Altoona PA location. My fiance and I arrived this morning 3/21/23 at 6:25 am to find a sign on the door; "Due to maintenance we will be opening at 6:30," which is fine, we stood outside and waited while the staff inside enjoyed their breakfast and coffee for anyone waiting or driving by to see. At 6:40, my fiance knocked on the window to let them know we were waiting, as I needed to be at work by 8, only to be ignored and at 6:45 he called and the manager answered. He voiced his concerns about standing outside and the observations of the staff. The manager came to the door and was extremely rude. Not the personality for someone to be placed in a management position. At no time during this conversation were voices raised and he made accusations that were so far from the truth, instead of apologizing for his lack of control and time management. As I have worked in hospitality and customer service for 30 plus years, I am appalled that someone with a position in hospitality and customer service would act in this way. We were not the only customers waiting and whom observed this display of rude behavior. We left Denny's to go to another establishment whom treated us with respect and supreme...
Read moreI am so sick of spending restaurant quality money and getting McDonald's quality food and treatment. Third time I have ordered the stew bowl. And both time the carrots can be used as a door stop and both times I did not get bread. And the lady asking about my order. When I said it was on line.... She threw attitude. Just wish I could get what I ordered with my bread and a smiling face.
Well...once again with a disappointment. Ordered cheese sticks. But the marina sauce had gone bad. When i told the lady just said sorry and walled away. Offered nothing to replace it with i got the attention of another one of the three women with an attitude. All she did was take it away and give me my ticket and walked away. When did the service get so bad. I doubt they even stopped serving it.
I paid and left. I did not leave a tip...that is unlike me. I usually leave a 20% even if service is not good. Its how they make money. But of the three women there and a very empty restaurant had no interest in doing their job. So...
