Ordered two dinner meals and two breakfast sandwiches early morning. The staff on comms repeated the order rather fast, sounded right. When I got to the window the cashier repeated the order and they put the wrong breakfast sandwich in my order. Know my wife was with me, I picked her up after a night with some friends.
I let them know we wanted the ultimate breakfast not the breakfast jack, they then took my card. I received my card back charged. I then was handed my drinks and food. I’m glad I checked my bag because there was two breakfast jacks. Keep in mind I have never ordered these, and I’ve eaten at Jack’s plenty of times over the years.
I had asked if they could correct my order and another lady came to the window. The lady said they can not fix my order because this is what I ordered. I told her I didn’t order breakfast jacks, I ordered ultimate breakfast sandwiches. She said I repeated it on the (comms) and you said it was good. I let them know they spoke rather fast and it was hard to understand. That’s why when I pulled up to the window I let them know the order was wrong.
Keep in mind now there are about 7 cars I can see behind us, and possibly more around the building. They then give the option to refund the wrong sandwiches and I can go around and order the right ones again. They said they had to do this cause this is what I got charged. (Note that I corrected my order before I gave them my card). I asked them can you just fix it since you messed up my order? They said no you have two options. 1. Refund the sandwiches and go through the drive thru again, or take what I got (paraphrasing).
I asked to speak to the manager and the lady at the window (one who said they repeated on the comms) stated she was the manager (claimed her name was Tiffany). She also let me know that if we didn’t choose one of these options they are calling the cops. They stated we are holding up the line and everyone else’s orders behind us are ready. We informed them we were going to contact corporate.
I let them know that if they would have just corrected my order I would have been long gone already. We disagreed with them for about 5 minutes during all this above. I feel that was plenty of time to remedy the issue. They then gave us 30 seconds to leave or call the cops. Btw, that whole time we didn’t have an issue with them calling the cops. They didn’t yell or were mean when speaking but the options were very inconvenient for their mistake. We ended up leaving.
I feel robbed for the fact I tried to correct my order, was told no and had to do what was suggested when the staff made the mistake twice, tried to sneak in the wrong sandwich hoping we wouldn’t notice, then tell us waiting another 30 minutes for sandwiches I wanted Vs. what I bought was the only option.
I normally don’t write reviews especially negative ones, I usually just don’t go back, but since they mishandled the situation and considering I probably have an BOL out for me, I want to make sure someone who can help customers when the staff...

Immediately says pull around and wait in front or words to that affect so we pull around to the front and the transient with a shopping cart is painting or glueing something on top of the cart then runs inside and goes and gets food and comes back out and continues with the card board and whatever is going on in front of the restaurant where we now are waiting for our drive thru mobile ordered ahead meal. I gave my daughter a disinfectant wipe and she opened the door and went to get our food since the transient had glue or paint or something on her hands when she just went in and out before our food was to be brought out. The grilled cheese was cold and the slices of cheese were just sitting cold in the sandwich not even warmed and no straw , the wrong meat in breakfast sandwich. I definitely do not recommend using the mobile app there since it does not save time and it seems they are understaffed because they were all running around looking very stressed. We usually choose somewhere else because the drive thru pushes you to the front spots to wait but normally the food is worth the wait when we do go to this location so I hope they did not lose their...
Read moreWe've all seen videos before that are captured of disgruntled and angry customers posted all over YouTube and social media due to frustrations with fast food staff. When viewing these videos I often wonder how someone can lash out and get angry enough to shout or get physical.
There is no excuse for that kind of behavior but there is also no excuse for food like this being served in a drive-thru and believing this is acceptable when the cost of this food and everything else keeps rising. I'm very tired of jack-in-the-box establishments here in Porterville not being able to make their "Boba" drinks right, the tapioca beads are supposed to be soft and squishy NOT HARD. I got this drink a second time hoping it would be better but the boba was hard, AGAIN.
I ordered Jack's crispy spicy chicken wrap, only to get home and find that the tortilla had been ripped off to accommodate the size of the chicken inside the wrap. Does this look appetizing? Does this look acceptable?
Please re-train your staff on how to serve your food appropriately.
