New L & D Chinese Buffet — Restaurant in Porterville

If it wasnt for LND my clan would have never reached the numbers we have today, we probably wouldnt have survived the winter of 89. I owe my life to the unlocked doors which bring my kind shelter in the bleak desperation of night, unrefrigerated food, expired cans of flavor sauce, noodles seasoned with the generations of ancient built up grease dripping while solidified from the corners of the fan covers, floors so filthy with food material and muck it keeps our paws warm. I don't like coming here my bad experiences with cold food and poor service are greater then my good experiences but unfortunately all of my family members enjoy coming here for dinner for the crab legs and they are pretty good. Price seems different every time and a bit steep if you ask me. Just a FLY not a good idea to let your kids go alone to the restroom they store cleaning supplies and hand soap under the sink and all that is exposed at anyone's reach. (BIG NO NO)

They have a good size parking lot.

I could have gave them from 1 star to 5 stars based on 1 visit but all in all this is a review in an overall not just one visit experience.

For the most part, the food in terms of quality meets my expectations. The kinds of food I expect for a Chinese Buffet are present. The staff also meets expectations.

The only glaring issues I have is the restaurant in general seems dirty and dusty. We were seated at a table where there were some trash still on the floor and some sort of sauce on the table.

It is the only Chinese Buffet I know of that serves sushi in which it is just seaweed, rice, and a cube of spam. The ratio of rice to spam is substantial. I would prefer they just serve spam.
