Zalud Park — Attraction in Porterville

Zalud has improved a lot. More people are going to this park also. It isn't so lonely as it used to be. I use to see more homeless people there than people enjoying the park for leisure. There are exercise machines that follow the walking path that you can use, and a nice big play set for kids to play on. There is a basketball court, tennis court,baseball field and they recently added 2 Cornhole sets and a ping pong table. I've been enjoying this park more now...

Does anyone remember the delightful Zalud Park? It was a place where the melodic chorus of tree frogs filled the air, and the pond in the center was a haven for these tiny creatures. The park even had a one-of-a-kind chair-shaped rock that added to its whimsical charm. It was truly a magical place to make joyful and everlasting memories. I hope this description brings back happy and heartwarming memories...

Great environment and alot to do basketball courts, playground, baseball field, and a picnic area along with a track to walk or courts to play tennis. Update it changed they have the gated baseball field for events only and now no where to park and over crowded it's a public park they should move it to the sports complex and leave our little parks for family...
