Aviary Cafe — Restaurant in Portland

Originally I went to the pizza & growlers stand and tried to order the tofu salad. I waited in the line and then I was told they were out of the tofu, but the aviary cafe had some. I went into the line for Aviary cafe and waited for a long time to finally try to order the tofu salad again. I ordered at 12:32pm and waited until 12:50pm with no food. I was given a buzzer and receipt. I had my fiance go check and see what happened. They told him they forgot about our order...I thought maybe they were cooking the tofu and that's why it took so long, but no. When the salad finally arrived it looked great! 1/3rd of the tofu was straight up FROZEN. They put cold tofu on the salads and I happened to get one that was so cold it froze. Worst experience I have had at any restaurant so far. I wasted a good hour trying to get a salad . I won't be buying meals at the zoo anymore because of this. Definitely do not recommend the tofu salad either. Frozen tofu made my stomach upset for the remainder of the day. I couldn't even tell anyone my meal was bad because the line was so long...

Lady at register is obviously on something as her eyes rolled into the back of her head 3 times while trying to take my order. The food i got was beyond terrible and made me and my family sick just looking and smelling it. Went in with food for a refund and argued for about an hour for a refund between 5 different people. Manager said they dont have the system set up for refunds. After about 20 minutes of arguing with the manager, i could tell he could care less. Ended up getting the refund but this was probably the most worst experience ive ever had at a fast food place. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND! Bring your own food or go get a stamp to leave the zoo and go somewhere else. If you happen to fall victim to this scam, pray you used a debit card and call the bank to contest the charge as they will...

Ok I dont feel bad saying this definitely made me very sick now that I am reading reviews. Zoo is great now. I expect that after all of the lovely work they have done to the rest of the zoo they may hopefully re do the afri Cafe or tell them to fully cook or fully re heat the food. I had the veitnames pork sandwich I was very very (Googled ER near me/didnt have to go) sick all night after getting home. When I had the sandwich in front of me I could not tell if it was supposed to be hot or cold or if they cook or re heat them. I am sorry to say but don't feel to sorry after how sick I was... something was wrong with that food and not right in the cafe'. 🤢Also I sorta doubt the bun was wet from pickles idk I...
