Open while construction in progress. Walk around building to the left. Espresso and other beverages, sandwiches, salads, pastries, and popcorn. Prices seemed reasonable. We only got espresso, but the food looked good. Prices seemed reasonable for the venue. Staff was friendly and efficient. It is accessible without zoo entry. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Restrooms are on the right side building. Paved parking available for a fee paid by app or machine. There is limited free parking in turnouts around the park. Just stepped into the Cascade Cafe because I wanted to have a look around and see what the vibe was. It was under construction, so you had to go around to the left side of the building. They have a nice outdoor seating area. When I went inside, the place wasn't empty. A lot of people weren't there, probably because it's in front of the zoo and people are mostly in the center or the far back area of the zoo. It is quite a big building. There are tons of seats inside. It is nice and clean. There are plenty of caffeinated beverages like lattes and coffee and snacks as well as foods like fruit bowls...

My worked rented this for an employee event and the venue was pretty good. The staff was super friendly and always there when you had a question or needed help. The room is pretty big, we managed to get about 450 at round tables for our event. They have sound equipment, mics, and projector that you can use for an extra fee but it's not too bad. The only thing I would actually complain about is the speakers. They are above your head and the quality of them are pretty low (think principle over intercom) so I would recommend bringing your own.
