If you love bamboo and want to learn more about how to use it in a garden, check out this informative and inspirational bamboo garden located in Hoyt Arboretum near the shelter. Signs offer up information and advice on growing and pruning bamboo in your yard. (Just like pruning a hedge, bamboo only needs to be cut back a couple of times a year.)
