During our trip to Portland, one of the places we visited was Mount Tabor. On the way there, we stopped at this little coffee shop inside a lovely stone church. The entrance is to the side, through a bright red door. It was a really cute space, loved the little stained glass windows, and the antique-feel of the space. Very cozy and homey. They have a good variety of baked goods, but since we just had lunch, we stopped there for a cup of coffee only. The ordering counter and all the baked goods are in the back room. We got Rose Latte and Spanish Latte. They are made with housemade ingredients such as syrup, and local honey. It was not overly sweet, but perfect sweetness, and the coffee was nice and strong. They were super delicious! We really enjoyed our quick, relaxing coffee stop here.

the space may be “airy” but my bland croissant was denser than the bible. not enough ice in the (tasty!) iced americano so it became room temperature americano very quickly. however, the staff are friendly and helpful. i also love the venue. it reminds me of that moment in the Passion of Jesus when he raged at the merchants in the temple. also, the family friendly vibe combined with the high ceilings really amplified the children’s screams to the heavens as architecturally intended. this den of thieves does not disappoint in terms of ambiance but i cannot forgive the food.

This is a great coffee shop and space I really love the atmosphere, especially the stained glass windows. They also have some lovely latte options as well as non coffee drinks. The golden latte was great (I added a shot) they have good service and dairy free options. Tabor space is a wonderful space as well.

So I've been to Crema twice. The first time we got two lattes and a California cookie. Everything was perfect. Coffees were delicious and well executed and the cookie was perfectly baked.

This second visit was awful. I ordered two dirty chai lattes and a California cookie. The lattes were so watery and flavorless. The cookie is horrendously over baked and has no flavor. I don't know what's up with this, but I feel like I wasted $18 on this second trip. I would have contacted Crema directly but they no have email address or phone number posted anywhere.

I'm debating never going here again. I may give it one more chance, but I'm really annoyed about the wasted money. The lattes were dumped out and the cookie was tossed in the trash.

I have no issues with the service. The people there are...
