Absolutely horrible. I ordered on line and I had a request to make a change to my wife’s drink. I was informed that it was already made and this wasn’t an option. Ok that’s fine my mistake. I then asked if I could order the correct one and I would pay the new cost. That was where it all went bad. The young male person at drive thru what I can only describe as lost his mind. Telling I couldn’t order a new drink and I would have to pay for both. Which I initially intended on. But after that got figured out proceed to window where I was presented with my original mistake in my order misty drink. I said to donate this you any one who like a free drink and I’d like the correct one which I’d just ordered. And have now paid for. He sighs and slams the window. I watch him to see this he goes to the machine and puts flavor in the drink only there’s clearly not enough, he waits for sometime I’m assuming for more flavor. When he just goes to the misty machine put misty in the flavor bottle and swirls it around and dumps it in my cup. Then adds ice cream to make it a float and tops it off with more Misty drink. I kid you not the solution barely pink and definitely not red as cherry should be. He passes it through to me and I said. Sir are you kidding me there no flavor in that. He then lied and said no it’s there see the red take it or leave it I don’t care. I still laugh at the attitude this guy carried. I told him my thoughts and left. Oh no drink I went to 7-11 and got a slurpee so three drinks total. Oh for the record my thoughts were maybe not as nicely stated as it could have been but I were constructive, I understand running out of product it happens but you had my first drink sitting right there why not dump some and add the ice cream I alrasdy paid for a new drink I don’t care about the 5 bucks just getting my wife what she wanted. But that didn’t go well either. So I gave this a one star. Generally I’ve not ever had an issue here. But I won’t return here. You’re call. Good luck if a younger male with ache is running drive thru beware. He’s...
Read moreSPECIALTY: BAD VIBES with a side of ice cream. I’ve been a Dairy Queen customer for over 30 years at least. I love the treats for sure HOWEVER Ever since I moved to Multnomah Village and started frequenting this particular location, I really lost my desire to continue being a customer of Dairy Queen.
I used to live in SW Beaverton and I would go to that DQ up to three times a week, but now, I haven’t been back to DQ in over a month. I’ve thought about it often, but then I consider the crappy experience I may have in the drive-thru and it’s an immediate pass.
Service is getting so bad. There’s a one girl that was working in the drive-thru one weekend (and I don’t take things personally typically but this girl wanted to make it personal). The way she talked to me angrily while looking me dead in the face made it seem as if I bothered her tremendously while she was working simply for being a drive thru customer.
This next one is funny: The next time I went through the drive thru, another young lady Questioned me when I ordered two pup cups. She asked me do I actually have two dogs in the car. As if paying $.99 for 2.5 ounces of ice cream is some sort of charity work. LOL I think the employees are confused I could see not wanting to give somebody a dollop of ice cream for free if they don’t really have dogs but questioning them before you sell them over price ice cream for their dogs is insane and embarrassing, for them. And I don’t know why, but that was the final straw. It almost took the joy out of going there. No… that’s exactly what it was. The employees have taken the joy out of Dairy Queen.
I’m a fully grown adult and in my experience I’ve learned that this has a lot to do with management. Somebody is setting the tone there. Somebody is speaking poorly of customers. Somebody is hiring poorly or paying poorly and also teaching the team to hate the customers- And it shows.
It’s not 1982 anymore, there are lots of options nearby. Oh and don’t you dare ask for...
Read moreI placed an order online to be picked up inside, it told me food would be ready at a certain time but I know they can get busy so I allowed some extra time. When I arrived well after that time, the doors were locked and the employees refused to speak with me so I held up my phone showing the email receipt for my order. They still did not open the door, but repeatedly gestured me to the drive through which I was not interested in—that’s why I placed an order to be picked up inside. Because of the total lack of communication I called the store on the phone, and was told they were only starting my food now. Frustrated, I remained by the door while they slowly began to prepare my food and they continued to gesture me to the drive through (though we were still well within business hours). They not only failed to include the sauce I had paid extra for (rendering the food inedible without sauce, which unfortunately was only discovered once I arrived home), but they also clearly deliberately made my dessert as messy and inedible as possible (see photo for how it was handed to me). When I got home and realized the slop that had been given to me, I called the store and spoke with a manager and asked for a refund. I was told that the register was closed for the day (even though we are still well within their open business hours), and that if I wanted a refund I would have to drive all the way back to the store and go through the drive-through to get my money back. Unacceptable; please do not waste...
