Mixed Experience with Hyperion Computer Works for Desk I reached out to Hyperion Computer Works for assistance in organizing the cables on my stand-up computer desk, and while there were positive aspects, I was ultimately left dissatisfied due to significant issues with billing and the quality of work delivered.
What Worked:
Prompt Responses & Scheduling: The company was very responsive initially and scheduling was smooth. Their ability to address my needs quickly was impressive. Staff Courtesy: Throughout the process, the Hyperion employee I interacted with was polite and genuinely hardworking. This professionalism in personal interactions was a clear positive. Where It Fell Short:
Billing Accuracy: The core of my dissatisfaction stems from the financial aspect. An initial estimate of $260 spiraled into an astonishing $1,160 final charge. This stark difference was unexpected and left unexplained to my satisfaction. Quality of Service: The primary service - cable organization for my stand-up desk - was underwhelming. Despite the potential seen in staff effort, the end result did not meet the expectations set at the project's initiation.
Communication Breakdown: Following the service, I sought clarification on the billing discrepancy directly with the company's owner. My attempts were met with silence, leaving me frustrated and calling into question the company's commitment to customer satisfaction.
Conclusion: While Hyperion Computer Works showed potential in responsiveness and employee professionalism, the gaping discrepancy between the estimated and final bill, paired with subpar service quality, significantly marred the experience.
The lack of follow-up communication was the final straw, leading me to advise caution for potential future customers. Ensure a solid understanding of the service costs upfront to avoid similar surprises and consider emphasizing clear, ongoing communication throughout...
Read moreOver the years I have purchased a new PC every two years because of how slow they become with viruses and whatever is floating around on the internet. Two computers ago I hired a tech company associated with a retailer to clean up that computer and threw that hundredish dollars down a rat hole. With all my complaining to friends about this issue, I would constantly hear âYou should buy an Apple.â But PC desktops and Apple Macs can be $1000 or more in price. As a true Luddite I just couldnât justify the difference in price...until I finally capitulated. Researching my options I read up on purchasing a refurbished, but newer MAC. I saved nearly 60 percent by following the recommendations. I opened my perfect, new-to-me MAC and it was great...for about a month. Then it started doing weird things and I felt defeated by technology. But I had met the company owners of Hyperion and decided to take the computer to them. For $300 my Mac was cleaned up, brought up to date with the best Softwear and has been running amazingly for the past year. No glitches, no slowing, no problems. They had my computer for two days and it was ready to go. The patiently answered all my questions, dumb as they might be, without so much as an eye roll. Plus they personally seatbeltted my computer into the backseat of the car. Who could...
Read moreI probably share more in common with their dog! But their ability to deal with someone like myself who can't even keep quiet for one minute, đ¤ considering the stress required by their line of work they showed a great understanding and willingness to help! Followed the online print to send an email and my dude got back at me the next day! Component is a Module for a 1995 BMW 840ci, this is not something you can find, so this requires patients and focus to do it right. He even took a random walk in request by fixing a soldered joint issue on a brushless RC motor that I broke prior to meeting up with him FO FREE and he was excited to do it. All in all great service would and will recommend this company to anyone who may need their help. Thanks again!
P.S. What's up with that...
