My partner bought me a pie from here and I was incredibly excited to try it on my birthday. Coconut cream pie is one of my favorites, and it always comes with a custard inside topped with shredded coconut. Well, this pie did not have either. I went into the shop with my partner to pick it up and I took a bite and it was bland and thin for a pie. I was nice about it because it was my birthday and I didn't want to ruin the moment, but when I got home, I told my partner he wasted his money on the no-love made pie. This was the worst pie I have tasted and it was 60 dollars! This pie wasn't even worth 15 dollars. My partner asked for a vegan pie, and what they made us was a pie that lacked any kind of skill in vegan baking. It was like the person that made it was so closed-minded about vegan baking, that they too were disappointed in it. It just tasted disappointing and sad. They were hungry for our money, but didn't deliver on the pie. I do not recommend this place, they just wanted our money and didn't care that the pie was bad. Overall, bad experience.

Response back to owner: Sorry we didn't tell you right away that the pie was bad, but adults that work full time have better things to do than point out the obvious. You guys knew the pie was bad. If anything, it would have been very appreciated if you would have admitted that you never made one like this before. You overcharged and like I said previously, it was my birthday so I didn't want to ruin the moment when I was in your shop. I didn't want to come off rude to my partner. So, please, at least take the advice from this review and stick to what baking you guys know. It was a sad waste of money and put a damper on my birthday....

Absolutely amazing desserts and flavors. My husband loved all the cupcakes and different flavors and enjoyed his cookie too.

Update: So I went back to get a cake done my bday on Monday July 18. Mind you my bday was the very next day July 19. When I tell you above & beyond excellent customer service. The owner heard me mention I needed to get a cake done and stopped working on her computer came right over to assist with all the help she could give.She even helped me to get a cake that I wanted for my husband last month but I couldn't get there until the day. The presentation when of both cakes was amazing. They did such a great job I even purchased 6 more items when we went to pick up the cakes. This will be my go to place. I need to find out if they ship so I can order so cakes for my family back in South Carolina. It has been hard to find a great baker out who cakes not only look good but also taste good as well. Well I found them and this is. I didn't even want to share my cake hints as to why I got my husband his own cake 😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣 & I also dropped 😧😧🤯🤯 it but I caught it🤗🤗🤗 Thank you ladies and you will see me again probably before the month is out. I was looking forward to giving this place a five star review but unfortunately they did not meet the standards I had high hopes for. The cake was pricey for the size but it was for my partner so I was willing to give it a shot since we wanted to support African American owned businesses. I specifically asked for there to be a drip when I ordered the cake weeks in advance, dark chocolate drip was my request. It was disappointing to see your custom order not customized. When the person at the bakery showed me the cake, I did not have enough energy to talk to them about their mistake since it was a long day for me and wanted to taste it rather than base it off only appearance. The cake was far too sweet to a point where it made your teeth hurt, and I was not the only person who felt that way. Still it was flavorful so I was okay with it. But then I found this piece of plastic/tape in my mouth(pictured). That completely ruined my experience but I was grateful my partner did not have to eat that on his birthday.
