This vegan drive-thru is like a plant based version of In-N-Out 🍔 Simple and tasty burgers with the best milkshakes in town! #veganfood #pdxfoodie #veganfoodie #pdxeats #veganrestaurant

If you’re a vegan, I think this place is a solid entry for vegan fast food, and I hope they open more accessible locations within Portland. Otherwise, for non-vegans, it’s okay, worth it to try once if you’re just curious, but we didn’t like it enough to come back without being in the area. For everyone, their vegan shakes are amazing, can’t tell the difference with dairy shakes. FOOD: We came by here since we heard it was considered a “vegan” In-N-Out, with some reviews touting that it was even better than In-N-Out. As someone who’s had the real deal many times, that is not true. The shakes, chicken nuggets, and fries are pretty good, but the burgers are definitely not the same or better (in my opinion). I got the Fancy Burger. The burger meat tasted okay, but not as filling as real meat, and felt a bit dry. I didn’t really notice the presence of cheese. The lettuce, tomato, and onions seemed good quality! I would probably ask for more onions next time. In comparison to In-N-Out, I would say In-N-Out’s burger is more of a juicy burger, more saucy, the lettuce was more crispy, tomato was more sweet, and meat was more juicy. Face Plant’s meat seemed a bit dry, and it wasn’t saucy enough, but that’s more personal preference. I got a cold brew shake, and this was the best vegan shake I’ve ever had. I actually could not tell the difference between their shake and the Burgerville dairy shake. If it’s actually vegan, this is a great option for those who want a shake but can’t have dairy. The chicken nuggets’ texture was pretty close to real chicken nuggets and the taste has been the best vegan nuggets I’ve had so far. The fries were fresh and hot. The texture of the fries was very nice and crispy. These were definitely better than In-N-Out’s. If I were to come back, I would just get the nuggets and the shakes. Their burger combo deal includes fries and a drink. I think it’s $4 extra to upgrade from a regular drink to a shake. Worth it if you want a shake since the shake is usually $6.49. LOCATION: The location is also very out of the way, and the items are not good enough to keep us going out of the way to coming back. Hopefully they open more locations near SE. There was a lot of seating inside, and the place is very clean. It definitely has a similar look to In-N-Out. It was fairly empty when we went on a Wednesday afternoon. SERVICE: Staff was very friendly and welcoming, there was a lot of seating, and they bring the order to your seat for dine-in. We did have to pick up the drink at the counter though. The order came super fast! They have a rewards program, but they didn’t mention it when ordering. I noticed it on the receipt. I tried to add the receipt to my rewards account to get the points I missed, but it couldn’t find the check number. PARKING: There was a lot of parking spaces too, they had a huge parking lot, and they also have a drive-in.

I’ve been excited to try this place ever since hearing about it months ago, and today I finally made it over. I got the Double Fancy with Fries. I’m not vegan or vegetarian, so comparing it to a regular burger, the patty is 95% there in texture compared to a normal patty. The taste is ever so slightly different but not unpleasant at all, and delicious. The sauce on the burger is yummy, and the ingredients all seem to be fresh. The fries are good and have a pleasant “crunch” to them, and are not overly greasy. The staff was very warm and welcoming, and they were prompt with my order. The decor is bright and eye-popping colors, yet simplistic at the same time. Their logo is adorable. The menu is so simple - but it’s quirky and I love it. It’s also VERY affordable, and competitive with the other fast food chains around. Overall it was a great experience, and I definitely recommend it. It isn’t something I personally would find myself going out of my way to come and eat, mostly because of location and how infrequent I’m eating fast food. But if you are vegan/vegetarian and are missing fast food, I guarantee that this place will blow your mind and have you coming back for more.

Please come to this place!! Listen, I haven't even gotten my food, and I'm STARVING, which could totally make me into a cranky curmudgeon that could review bomb a place. However, the owner of this place is RUNNING around handing out orders, thanking everyone for coming in, and apologizing for the wait. I've heard him give customers free food, extra fries, and free refills when he sets down their food with an apology. Let's be clear: there is a wait (although it really isn't any longer than a regular restaurant, and I'm dining in), but that's because the restaurant is packed, and the drive-thru is full. I'm happy to see a vegan restaurant succeed, especially when its prices are this fair, so I will happily wait for my food. I don't even have to taste the food to know I'm coming back because this has been the friendliest fast food restaurant I've ever been to. The owner is caring and committed, so I want him to succeed and thrive. I will also say that in waiting for my food, I'm seeing other people demolish their own meals, so the food must be pretty damn good!!

Update: Food came, the owner apologized for the wait (totally unnecessary, as I think I waited 15-20 minutes at most!), AND I GAVE ME FREE NUGGETS. Better yet, now that I’ve had a taste for myself, the food is GREAT. I don’t know how they make the secret sauce they included in my order, but it’s addicting! I’m writing this review feeling gluttonous because I absolutely inhaled my food it was so good. The veggies on the burger were fresh, the fries were crisp, and the nuggets were some of the best vegan chicken I’ve had. I’ve been vegan for years and have had some hits and misses with vegan burgers… this was a big hit for a great price! I cannot recommend this place enough! I don’t write reviews for places because most of the time I don’t care about the place after eating, but seeing how dedicated this owner is to this restaurant and living in a day and age of big corporations destroying small businesses, I needed to do my part in ensuring this place...

First time going been wanting to go for awhile since they opened it was overall pretty great. I ordered the double fancy meal with a Dr. Pepper and the fancy sauce. The burger was pretty tbh I only thought the burger was a little salty for my taste but the veggies were fresh and not skimpy like regulsr fast food places. overall I felt very full and satisfied after finishing it so that's great! Portion wise it's on point I was happy to see how much fries were given with the meal which was nice, I usually eat the whole meal for fast food very easily I'm kind of a pig but after I ate the burger alone i was full. I'm still working on these delicious fries that must be real because they're so tasty they seem fresh and are very yummy. The fries are salted perfectly and the fancy sauce is good too it just tastes a little too relishy or vinegar like I can't put my finger on it exactly but it's thick and good just needs the flavor turned down to something just a little more neutral then I think the sauce would be perfect. But yea to me it's a almost perfect mock in n out burger style vegan restaurant. I don't think I'm too critical on my reviews but as someone who loves fast food and eating in general this is just my opinion. I think I have a good taste for things personally but yea I can't wait to try it again. I didn't get to meet the owners yet but I love how this place looks if only it was closer to my house I'd go more tbh the pricing is pretty good for the quality. The food is very clean I dont feel gross after eating it like I do mcdonalds. Thank you to the owners if you're reading this! I'm so glad I got to try your food it's so good I will be coming...
