This place is one of those Portland places that pretends to be cool but treats its costumers like street trash. I’m sorry but I walked in here and asked for a small oat latte, It costs $6 plus, the guy looked at me with a horrible shamming attitude and said well oat milk costs a $1, like I was an idiot or was supposed to know that or there was something wrong with me for asking. I said that’s really expensive, I was just speaking my mind so he walks away and some other guy comes over and schools me on how they don’t like people that complain about their prices. you gotta be kidding. Is this what the world has come to. I wasn’t even complaining but now I am. I’v worked at so many restaurants and bars in S.F, I would never talk to my costumers this ways, I’m sorry but I don’t think this place is gonna make it, honestly I hope it doesn’t. You don’t treat your costumers this way anywhere. People should be able to speak their mind. Poor kid they were offended that I thought they charged too much for 2 tablespoons of oat milk. They literally were ganging up on me. It was scary. It made me really embarrassed and ashamed for just speaking my mind about the price. This is the first time I’v ever written a bad review in my life because I believe in giving people chances but this place deserves it. Maybe these two were prejudice or something who knows. You never know. Watch out for...

...but this place, the physical thing, has no personality. It is like walking into a Target mock up. Corporate cheugy art gallery for gay guys. Disceranbly not facist but it is straddling the fine line. The lack of stuff in the room makes the space acoustically difficult to be in. Everything that's attached to the walls and on a shelf is too small.
All that doesn't even matter anyway because the staff, food, and drinks are all amazing. Everyone working there that I've met has been incredibly chill. I've really liked all the little bake goods they've had. The cheese stick thing has been my favorite. Idk if they actually make 'em but they have 'em and I bought 'em. All the signature drinks I've tried have been delightful. There has been alot of effort put into all the things you consume and the quality of those products shows. Doesn't hurt that most everything is reasonably priced.
The bathroom is nice. It has a big sink and is clean. Needs more stickers...
Read moreReally cute little coffee shop. Much needed addition to this street. It’s a little bit eerily quiet as far as the people that gather but that can be a good thing. Especially if you’re trying to read or do quiet work. Music is on point, drinks are inventive and not too sweet. Would absolutely return. I used to live in apartments on this street and wish this was here when I was so I could be here frequently!
Just updating my review a year later to say I'm unhealthily obsessed with their coffee. Truly some of the best coffee and house made flavors in Portland. The owners are so sweet and seem like genuine people. Everything they make is delicious and their pastries...
