I walked in and there was no staff so I went to the bathroom and washed my hands, still no staff, I walked around and looked at the many games and what they had on tap, all men sitting inside, low-key. I called out to see if anyone was in the kitchen and a lady started yelling at me, she said to get out, she was waving her arms at me like I was a fly, I said I was wondering if there was anyone working there as I had been waiting a very long time, she said, " get out, get out, get out." I was truly amazed, I have never been treated like that by anyone anywhere in the world. Husband had an okay stout and I had two excellent lemon drops. They had just the right amount of sweetness and I could not taste the vodka. This indicates someone knows what they're doing behind that bar. Music was enjoyable, 90's and early 00's alternative was playing during our date. The gentleman at the bar was very kind and our chicken tenders were tasty. They were hand battered and nothing like the horrible pre-frozen chicken strips with peppercorn breading that dominates most establishments. Even the fries didn't disappoint. It used to be a great place before the new owner started, everybody that works there is rude and the food there is awful it used to be great I had an experience where I came in ordered a burger and she just brought me the burger with no fries and I asked for the fries she said she was too busy to make them doesn't sound like very good customer service to me the new owner is rude he's not very friendly at all unless you've been going to that place for a long time he's friendly with the regulars and as a person stated in a prior review she said if you are a male they like you if you are female they don't, would not recommend going to this place I sure won't go there againwouldrecommendrrerecommendgoing...
