I was looking for a summer job and called the store to ask about openings, and was told that they were in fact hiring and that I could come in any time to fill out and application and bring my resume. I came into the store and did just that, but was then told by Mark, the supervisor, that I would most likely not get hired because the training period is 3 months (the whole summer). This sounded strange to me so I called 7 Papa Murphy's in the Portland area and every single one told me the training period was 1-2 weeks. I told Mark that I would be back to speak to the manager because he was unable to explain to me what the supposed "3 month training period" entailed. I called the very next day and spoke to Aaron, the manager, and when I asked him to explain why that Papa Murphy's was different than all of the others, and why training would last 3 entire months, he proceeded to tell me that he "didn't have the time to explain the process to me" but he was unaware that i was sitting in the Papa Murphy's parking lot and they were not at all busy. Surely he could have spared 2 minutes to explain this process to me. As a young black woman, I am absolutely positive that this was discrimination and I will be filing a claim. The only response they could give was "for us to be able to leave you in the store alone would take 3 months" but could offer no other explaination on WHY. I will never spend money at that location ever again. I gave one star because zero was...
Read moreI've been going to this location since I was a kid. I am a regular here but have never picked up an online order. Whoever was working the front register today had a bad attitude. I asked for my online order, and she rudely told me to go and check the shelves which I did. The breadsticks I ordered were not there so I went back up to the register to ask about the breadsticks. She was joking around with another coworker ignoring me until the coworker told her I was there. She then turned around and I was met with her stank attitude. I asked her nicely for the sauce cups, she only grabs one and slams it on the counter. By then, I was done. I paid for two sauce cups but it wasn't worth going back for the attitude. Someone should've taken the day off. I will not be...

The quality is great and the staff are wonderful. They'll literally make whatever you want, no questions asked, no fuss, no problem. And if they make a mistake, or mess up, they fix it immediately and without question. Vegetarian and they accidentally put a pepperoni on there? New pizza. Super specific allergy that you forgot to mention but you could easily remedy yourself by pulling off said ingredient? Nope, have a new pizza without the offending ingredient and a smile.
This Papa Murphy's is all pro, their discounts are actually discounts (Free cookie dough just because? Sure why not!), and the quality is unimpeachable.
I highly recommend...
