Our group walked to Trela in the rain, starving and freezing, but as soon as we got within a block, we could smell the food, and our mouths started watering. On a Friday night, we expected to wait for food, but to our surprise, everything came out within minutes. And let me tell you—everything we ordered left us speechless. Each bite had us reaching for more. The flavors were so bold and vibrant, every dish packed with a punch. The Saganaki (cheese set on fire right in front of you—woo!) was an unforgettable experience. The Horiatiki took me straight back to Italy, reminding me of the life-changing Caprese I had there this summer. And the three-dip combo? Mind-blowing. We literally licked the spoons clean. I’ve only had food this good in Europe. From the very first bite, you can taste the quality. The ingredients are locally sourced, and the freshness is undeniable. Some places claim to use fresh ingredients, but you can really taste the difference here. Trela holds itself to a high standard, you taste it in each bite. The atmosphere is equally fantastic—comforting yet energetic. While you’re devouring amazing food, don’t be shy to strike up a conversation with the servers. The owners are Greek, and they took the time to give us a personal tour of the restaurant, sharing photos from Greece and telling meaningful stories. It was a night we’ll all remember for a long time. It ended with complimentary orange liquor and lots of laughter. OPA! 🍊

Had a really great evening visiting Trela kitchen. Having recently opened I was excited to give them a try and obviously the reviews speak for themselves. Came in on a Friday evening, which was bustling and busy, so would recommend a reservation. Ambiance was great. It was lively and well decorated with lovely antique art as well as more modern paint colors and tile work. Energy overall was nice, with families galore and a homey feel. It was rather loud so just consider that, maybe not a first date spot. Food was a hit and more unique compared to some Mediterranean places I’ve been. It’s really focused on Greek fair specifically. We tried the 3 dips which were all fantastic and went well with other dishes in the meal. The sausage also happened to be a standout along with the oh so fresh pita bread. The bechamel noodle dish was tasty, and a great portion, but was a little hit one note by the end of the dish. Skewers were tasty but also could have maybe had a bit more seasoning to really pop with flavor. All in all though everything was tasty and felt fresh which I appreciated and the 4 dishes were perfect size for us. Happy to see a new spot thriving in town and would certainly go back! Some of the dishes probably warrant larger groups and would be best for sharing.

I went here with a friend of mine and let me tell you, this was some of the best Greek food I have ever had. Scratch that, THE best Greek food I have ever had. The atmosphere was loud and busy so talking and hearing was hard but we went on a Saturday night. The walls are decorated with family memorabilia that tells rich stories of the owners family history. The staff were incredibly friendly and the hostess was very accommodating. Our waiter Kelsey checked in on us multiple times and the bartender Katarina made wonderful drinks. One of the cooks came out and greeted and spoke with us and other patrons personally. It really felt like a big warm family. The garlic and potato dip made my eyes go wide and the pita bread was hot and freshly made. The dolmathes were wrapped in cabbage but it was so well cooked, I couldn’t even remember that’s what it was. My eyes went wide and the juice from the meat made my brain tingle. It was incredible. Dessert was crispy and yummy. The bathrooms were clean, private, and accessible. Overall, I will be coming back and ordering heaps more. Please try this restaurant if you haven’t already!!!

Oh my word. I rarely do reviews but this place is so incredibly deserving. I haven't had Greek food this good in so long! They even have taramasalata which is my absolute favorite. We got a three dip combo, the moussaka, the lamb chops, lemon potatoes, and then a piece of baklava for dessert. (My mouth is literally watering just remembering the meal as I write this.) I felt like I was right back in Greece, a place where my husband and I very nearly moved to years ago. The authenticity of the dishes was, without question, spot on. Possibly too salty for some, but that's Greek food! The garlic! The citrus! The bechamel that actually tasted like cheese! The truly thickened Greek yogurt in the tzatziki! I LOVED it! We ordered way too much food in our excitement and couldn't finish everything so we were able to bring enough home for a second meal and I could hardly wait to eat it! We will be back many, many, times, I'm sure, even though it is about a 30 minute drive each way. Now excuse me while I go check flights to Greece! Epheristo for such a delicious meal that transported us back to one of our most favorite places on the planet! (I hope I spelled that correctly) I would love to see roast leg of lamb on the menu. Do you ever have it...
