I would give no stars if i could!!! We go to this store multiple times a week and were loyal customers. Never again. My mother and I get a coffee at least twice a week, so often they know our order by heart. Today I took a $10 bill out early while waiting for drive thru. When we get our 2 medium coffees I hand her the ten. She gives me $.30 in change. I asked where the rest of my change was and she said I gave her a $5. I was seriously taken aback. She would not believe both my mom and myself and immediately treated us like scammers and criminals!! She wouldn't listen and barked at us to move forward to wait for the manager. The manager never came out. I was furious to say the least! We both walk in and the manager is counting the cash drawer to see who's right!!! I can't believe they made us wait 15 minutes for that! Then the manager walks out with a $5 bill in hand and gives it to me. No apology, no offer of even a munchkin to make this right. That employee should be FIRED for the way she treated us, and she just lost us as loyal customers. Going to West Main Rd. from now on... unbelievable!!!!! No wonder West Main has...
Read moreLiterally the worst experience at a Dunkin or any other food service establishment in my life. After placing my order, I was rudely denied access to the restroom despite being a paying customer. My husband stepped to the side to get a better look at the rolled in paper taped to the door and was again rudely informed by another employee (possibly manager?) walking by that it was NOT a public restroom. No eye contact, no apology. At this point I canceled my order and requested my money back since the purchase had not been completed and I hadn't received my change. I had to ask several times and finally demand it as they were insisting I would have to wait while they "processed the refund." I told them they could figure it out on their own time since there was no one else in the store. My $20 bill was then thrown at me. As we turned to leave, one of the employees started yelling rude comments behind our backs which erupted into a shouting match between her and my husband. I am still dumbfounded that this actually happened in real life. No more...
Read moreAs a new resident to Portsmouth, I expect my local Dunkin to be at least somewhat of a decent experience when I stop in. It’s been a nightmare every visit. Today I ordered a tea with steamed milk and was rudely told by a manager that I wasn’t at Starbucks and that I can’t just come up with my own drink. After she handed me my other drink, she continued and asked me if I knew I was at Dunkin and not Starbucks. Other experiences I’ve had included instead of handing me my change after paying for my order, they put it directly into the tip jar and walk away. I always leave a tip however expecting the leftover from a $10 bill on a $2.45 order is ridiculous. When I asked for my change they viciously grabbed the tip jar and handed me a few dollars and said they don’t know how much change it was because they already cleared the order. I’d love for the owner to fix the attitude of their employees because they are miserable. If you are one of the few employees that put a smile on your face at work then please know that I am not...
