TLDR: Unpleasant bartender, ~40 min wait for a table and then you wait 20 minutes for a waitress to take your order, then 40 more minutes for the food to get there. You'll be lucky if your food isn't sold out. Overheard waitress say "Yeah, we sell out of everything good all the time!"
We were told there was a 40 minute wait time and we can wait at the bar, which we happily did. We were a party of 4 and we all ordered a drink at the bar. Some patrons were nice enough to offer us seats, so we accepted and waited for our table.
When the bartender asked if we wanted menus, we kindly said that we did put our names in for a table and are gonna have drinks til it is available (since we were told we can do so.) She seemed flabbergasted but said nothing.
But then my friend went to ask for the status of the table, and he overheard the same bartender complain that she had 4 people at the bar "not ordering food or drink" and that we needed to move. Mind you, we all had full drinks. But because of her complaint, we were moved to a booth in the back corner and seemingly forgotten about.
We waited 20 minutes for someone to even take our drink order, so by that time we ordered food and drink at the same time. What we wanted to order was "sold out." So we chose something else, and then it took 1 hour to get our food.
The waitress was kind and we do not fault her, but this was ridiculous. We were told several times "We get overwhelmed for Wing Night, that's why the service is so bad."
Maybe rethink your wing night and find friendlier bartenders who don't make the patrons feel uncomfortable and like a burden for eating there...
Read moreA family-owned bar that's down to earth, then look no further than Tremblay's. Mike MacFarlane, the owner, was very kind enough to allow us to have our wedding after-party at his establishment starting at 10 pm on a Saturday night.
Keeping the kitchen open for a couple of hours over its usual closing time all while collaborating on what local brews to have available and on tap, Mike and his staff looked out for us and our wedding guests, ensuring there was no interruption to what had already been both a magical and special day.
Plenty of games for our friends and family to enjoy, along with an awesome, local beer selection, and also having the groom's alma mater college football game on the TV's (which happened to win in fantastic last-minute fanfare), Tremblay's turned out to be a special and memorable place during our wedding.
Good food, good times, we felt completely at home like the party had never stopped. Definitely check them out. Even though on the other side of the bay, we continue to visit and love every...
Read moreI've been to this place before and thought it was pretty good. But today was a different story. The food was ok but the service was horrible. We waited for 4 minutes at the Wait to be Seated sign and finally sat ourselves in the bar area. Everyone ignored us and I had to go looking for the waitress so we could order. The bartender talked and talked and talked about herself and her water bill and never said hello or "someone will be right with you". Never going back -there are better choices in the...
