Twisted Pig has the charm of a neighborhood hangout with a diverse mixed crowd , pool tables & TVs ,as well as a juiced up jukebox with a good play list .Food is ok ( some things simply need better seasoning ) portions are good size .Service is great !! *Summer the waitress/ Bartender was nice & friendly had the Brisket dip sandwich ( not bad good bread but was missing something) with a side of homemade mash potatoes ( needed salt ) but nice consistency. My spouse had the Meat loaf sandwich which is huge !! had a really good side sauce that was a kind of sweet & Heat combo on it asked for side of it in fact....( the meat loaf sandwich again needed a better seasoning profile as it was just bland and maybe the object is for you to get all the flavoring from the sauce ,but that is a disservice from how signature that sandwich could be with some basic spices to compliment that wonderful sauce ! Side of fries were crispy & delicious ( those were well seasoned).Oh yeah forgot we started off with the fried green tomatoes for a app and although they weren't the best ones I've ever had they had a unique breading ( I'm guessing cornmeal base ) that had a nice coating & a lil kick with the dipping sauce made them interesting .Overall the experience was good, and seems like a place you can have a few friends get a beer and grub after work type feel or you and your significant other could just hit while out for a quick bite on the way out...

The first time we came here, the food and service was great. This time around it was not great at all! The last time I was there I had really good plain wings, this time around it was awful! Not only was service subpar. While everyone else had got their food at my table, I did not. The server went on to cash out another table and so on. I had to get up and find where my food was. I never got my salad first, we never got our hush puppies appetizer. I had to bring my own salad to the table and was still waiting on the wings and puppies. She came to the table and I told her I was still waiting on food. She finally brought the wings and never the hush puppies. She came towards the end of the meal with the hush puppies she forgot to put in. I ended up sending the wings back as they were so salty I couldn't eat them, like they poured the whole salt shaker on them, they were also very dry/over cooked. I had the wings the last time and they were never like that. I get it was karaoke night. We got there around 7ish. It was more like a DJ in a club and no singing. My in laws did not appreciate the profanity is some of the songs he was playing in his mix.

I think I will stear clear of this place for a while. It's a a shame, because this place isn't too far from our house we bought last year and was really hoping for something good. I hate to say it, but the barrel has better food, service and atmosphere than this place...

My boyfriend and I visited this restaurant last week. I loved the vibe of the place and the karaoke. We sat down at a table but we didn't know if someone was supposed to come greet us and take our order or go up front to order. So my boyfriend went to the front and came back with menus. A waitress finally came to our table to take our order but we weren't ready to order so we ordered drinks. The waitress then came back with our drinks in a few minutes and asked if we were ready to order again. My boyfriend and I responded that we needed a few minutes. So when we were ready nobody came back to our table after sitting there not for a few minutes but 20-30 minutes. My boyfriend then went back up to the front to let them know that we had been waiting for someone to come take our order and nobody ever came. The waitresses didn't apologize, didn't say dog kiss my azz or anything. So my boyfriend paid for our drinks and we left. For that, we won't be back anytime soon. Side note: I'm not from Virginia I'm from Tennessee. This was my boyfriend's idea for us to come here. My family is coming to visit soon and I know that they love some good BBQ. Unfortunately because of the inadequate service of nobody even taking our order, I can't suggest this restaurant to them. So, next time please pay attention to every person who patronizes your business not just the people sitting at the table across...
