Waffle House — Restaurant in Portsmouth

Nice clean friendly at I went to order today at the waffle House here on George Washington highway I ordered it to go meal I had to go back because I forgot the chocolate chips on the walk then when I get home I found out that they really screwed up the order instead of putting onions on the hash browns they forgot that they put sausage included in the meal that we didn't order nor did they put extra onions with the eggs so I had to turn around and give the money back to the person that I was ordering this for so I'm out 20 bucks plus the cost of the meal I mean even my order is missing a few things overall service was good but the order completion was bad if somebody gets this you can send me a text and I will reply because the order was put in correctly it was served wrong by the time I get back my son had already eaten some of his but he wasn't happy cuz it wasn't correct and I started to eat mine My eggs were undercooked so I had to stick them in the microwave and let sit for 40 seconds or so My bacon was a little bit greasy I mean everything I touched after I ate it was was covered with his grease so really for an overall ground breakfast it sucked I guess I should have gone to McDonald's at least I could have got what I ordered it was it was I mean the waitress was great friendly very polite was listening to everything I said but the cook got the order wrong so like I say I'm out money because I had to give money back to the people that I was buying the breakfast for because they didn't get it right I didn't get mine right I doubt very much I'll get anybody to...

Was looking forward to a time-out breakfast with my son. The personnel were friendly, but outside of that, change needs to take place. Our drink and food orders were taken in a timely manner and we received our waters pretty quickly, but both of our glasses had food on it. Needless to say, we didn't drink them. Our table looked like it was just wiped, so we sat at the table and realized, it was dry and whatever was on it was just smeared all over the table. So, I used the water in my glass to clean it off. We received our food, but unfortunately it was as if it had been sitting for a moment and had gotten cold. Also, I ordered the All American meal and only received half of it. Our server never returned to check on us to verify all was well. This was just a minor issue. My greatest concern is how filthy the restaurant is. The floors needed to be sweeped and mopped and the tables and chairs were dirty. There was hardly anyone in there, so as a customer, I couldn't understand why it looked the way it did. Maybe they were short-staffed. Not sure, but this was the first time in a couple of years that we visited and concluded it...

I only gave a star because I had to so after this review I would like to take my star back . Me and my children came to this most disgusting place today . Not only did they have no seating but the lady behind the counter wiped a table with a dirty rag not even wiping the floor underneath the table that had syrup puddles that look like kids sat at the table before she tried to sit us there , food all on the seat and the waitress wanted to sit us at this table . How dare you even consider us sitting at a table to eat when u cleaned the table with a dirty rag and didn’t even mop the floor to clean up the syrup or even clean the seats . Disinfecting is important as well as cleanliness when eating at a restaurant. The nerve of this waitress so me and my children got up and left . I would never sit at a dirty table and eat food anywhere .. so disgusting this restaurant needs...
