The only saving grace about this place was the food, the entree (Crab cake, Macaroni & cheese, Asparagus) was pretty good, The crab cake was a bit too salty but everyone's flavor tastes are different so im not gonna knock them for that. This "dress code" they have is laughable. No casual clothes, must be "stylish", the servers and host were not matching, only thing that was uniform about them was the guava 757 shirt. Idk, if you're trying to push this dress code shouldn't you have your staff on that same vibe.
I went on a date, we walked in and the waitress told us to wait at the host stand no host/hostess was there, we waited 3 min for her to walk over and tell us "you can seat yourself anywhere". Where was the host you wonder, I was wondering the same thing till she finally did show up which should be the end of the story except I see her walking through the establishment rolling up. I'm open to smokers but something about it threw me off cause this is a restaurant that tries to portray a certain standard.
It was one waitress handling 4 tables so we didn't expect her to be fast but she was slower than that and rude through the experience. handed us a small single page paper as their menu. we were beyond confused cause their online menu had so many options on it and the page we were looking at was like 4 apps, maybe 8 entrees, and 4 desserts. Then the server walked back took that menu from us and said that this was a mistake. she gave us the wrong menu, then proceeded to hand us a menu that was smaller than that because it was still restaurant week and let us know they ran out of lamb chops and salmon. Now the place opened at 5PM, we got there at 7PM and it was not busy so yall ran out that quick? We worked with it and ordered. everything seemed alright for a while.
When we reached dessert the server informed us they also ran out of both the chocolate chip brownie and peach cobbler eggrolls which were the only two options on the paper. They were offering chocolate or strawberry poundcake. I would rate it a 1/5 to be honest, the funny part was seeing the security guy that I'm assuming was enforcing the dress code who was wearing (cowboy hat, jeans, and black air forces) walk out the kitchen twice, first time chocolate cake in hand no plate no napkin grubbing about 5 min later same thing with strawberry poundcake. Is that how y'all ran out of the lamb chops and salmon?
Oh yea, the music! i almost forgot to talk about the ambiance. the volume in the place was up and down the whole time. Certain songs were so loud I couldn't hear the person sitting across from me. other times couldn't hear the...
Read moreI will give my review on 3 Things based on my opinion.
First, the Restaurant's appearance. Its creative, neat, and clean. The music is not loud to the point where you can't hear the person next to you talk, but it's loud enough to enjoy the music ,have a nice conversation , hear yourself think and everybody wont hear when you talk( unless you talk loud). It also has a Forest theme to it; it has plants on its green vents, all the seats on the wall are green and the floor is a light brown color.
Second, the food presentation and taste. I ordered the bowl, you can see what it looks like in the picture I took and also what it is on the menu from the picture I took. The food presentation was nice and simple. It tasted good, not the best in the world but it's worth the price in my opinion. It wasn't too spicy nor too salty, everything was blended really well.
Finally, the customer service. The customer service was really great. The employees were nice, clean, and chill. First time there and I didn't have any problem with the employees unlike one of the reviews on this restaurant.
Overall this restaurant has great taste in music, pretty good food, the restaurant looks good inside and out, the restaurant is just about vibe. But the restroom is still a work in progress. I would definitely bring a significant other or friends...
Read moreSaw this place was recommended online so decided to check it out with my friends. I guess we chose the wrong day to go. Although the atmosphere was a nice chill vibe and the waitress provided great service, the restaurant was unfortunately out of the first 6 menu items I attempted to order. The delivery truck hadn’t came yet, but after about 40 minutes of driving to try this place I was somewhat disappointed. Outside of that, my friend (who is vegan) ordered a vegan labeled meal from the menu (the Rasta pasta). After eating for a few she felt there was dairy/cheese within the pasta. Although my friend had asked prior to ordering about its ingredients, my friend asked again to confirm. We were told the meal did indeed have Alfredo sauce (dairy) within the meal. The menu said coconut cream, which the waitress insisted has dairy in it…also said that the V on the menu is for vegetarian and not vegan even though the menu stated V=Vegan. The waitress stated she saw the cook make the food and both her and the cook did not know the V on the menu was for Vegan and thought it was for vegetarian. Once again, the waitress was very nice about everything and waived the meal but with my friend having an extreme sensitivity to dairy, this led to some complications later. Had high hopes but probably...
