This is, without a doubt, the best Asian Star location I’ve ever been to—and I’ve visited several. The quality here is just on another level. From the food to the service to the entire atmosphere, this place consistently delivers, and it’s become a go-to spot for me, especially during lunch hours.
If you’re trying to decide when to go, lunchtime is the sweet spot. The food always comes out fresh, piping hot, and perfectly cooked. There’s never that “sitting under a heat lamp” feeling you sometimes get at other places. Everything tastes like it was just made for you—because it was.
My usual order includes the Crab Rangoons, General Tso’s Chicken, and Sweet and Sour Chicken. Let me tell you, those Crab Rangoons? Absolute perfection. They’re made to order, and you can tell from the very first bite. The outside is always crisp without being greasy, and the filling—rich, creamy, and full of flavor—is never dry. It hits every single time.
The chicken dishes are equally amazing. Whether you’re going for the bold heat of General Tso or the tangy-sweet bite of Sweet and Sour Chicken, you can expect tender meat, generous portions, and sauces that taste like they were crafted—not just poured out of a bottle. And again, they come out steaming hot, which I love.
The customer service deserves its own spotlight. Every single time I walk in, I’m greeted with a smile and a warm welcome. It’s not just polite—it’s genuine. You can tell this is a family-run business, and they take pride in what they do. There’s a calm, kind energy here that makes you feel like you’re more than just another customer.
One of my favorite things to do is bring my IPad, grab my usual order, and work on my book or homework while I eat. It’s one of those rare spots where you can enjoy great food, feel at ease, and actually be productive. The environment is quiet, clean, and just the right kind of peaceful.
The prices are incredibly fair for the quality you get. Asian Star has become more than just a lunch stop for me; it’s a comfort place, a creative spot, and a small business I’m proud to support.
So thank you, Asian Star, for always delivering on quality, kindness, and consistency. I’ll be back...
Read moreBest egg drop soup I have had in years!!!!! And the Mongolian chicken is so tender, the word succulent actually comes to mind. My lunch companion felt the same way about the moo goo gai pan. Don't forget about the service. The lady who served us came from China. She allowed me to question her about the menu before I chose my meal. She acted like she was happy to be of service to 1st time customers! I like that. She helped me decide which meal I actually wanted to try on my 1st trip to their establishment. Then she and I conversed very quickly that the only difference between what she served m6,and and what she would have gotten in China was the soysause that I was adding. They would have already had it...
