Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Poway

Chipotle, I mastered how to order my bowl here, now I am happy. Bowl with brown rice, 50/50 chicken and steak, with fajitas, all sides, strained black been with it any liquid keeps rice from getting soggy. Recently ordered taco Bell cantina bowl and would like to compare.

Price-wise, Taco Bell is clearly cheaper at $5.50, compared to Chipotle's $7.50, A $2 difference is lot. For sure Chipotle had more total weight

Their ingredients had obvious differences. Lettuce in our Cantina bowl threw us off. They fail to even mention the greens on their website. Was this a salad, minus the crispy, 500+ calorie tostada shell? It had a creamy cilantro dressing, so that would be a "Yes". Guacamole would've cost us extra at Chipotle.

When we break it down between individual components, we were going head-to-head with a few shared ingredients: chicken, black beans, corn salsa and rice. The quality of these would matter the most.

Chipotle's burrito bowl is for hungry and taco cantina bowl is for healthy version.

So I never write reviews, but I had such a bad experience here I just had to do this. I waited 20 minutes to be served in a line with only four people ahead of me. They ran out of cooked chicken which I was fine with, I just changed my order to steak. I waited for a guy to wrap a burrito he overstuffed for forever. They kept mixing up the line order of bowls so everyone's orders got rearranged causing confusion. The girl on cash register was just standing around not helping. When I finally got to check out she put me on hold to answer another customer's question who was behind me. When she came back they ran our of lids, and when I asked about it she was pretty rude. She was honestly the worst due to her attitude, like we were the reason things were going so wrong. I wouldn't mind all this if everyone would of just exercised some common sense which would've made everything go faster. All in all it all just felt horribly trained with terrible...

Really liked the new carne asada meat option. Always enjoy the food at Chipotle. But debating if I should rate it a 3 or a 4 because they did not have any napkins in the store for a while. Even when I asked the person at register for napkins she said just a moment and then did nothing. Something as essential as napkins should not be missing from the store and especially when someone asks should get it fixed right away.

[Update 2024] Went here 2 weeks back snd every table was dirty with food all over and had to clean our own table. Lots of staff was there but no one bothered cleaning any table while we were there for 30 min or so. There was mess on tables and on floors and felt really unhygienicsitting there. And this is not the first time every single time I have been here last year or so not a single table is clean. Makes me wonder how dirty the kitchen may be ? What's going on Chipotle this is not the standard we used to love...
