Lucky Lulu's — Restaurant in Prairie Grove

First, we were there for the musical act, Rosie and Frank of Rosie and the Rivits were performing. We are swing dancers and Rosie and company are top drawer! As a result we didn't eat. The food looked a smelled good. We were the only dancers and that was good because space was limited. The management accommodated us but the concrete floor reminded us of our age the next morning, SORE! The crowd on the Wednesday night before Thanksgiving were many and LOUD, but did not object to our convulsing in the spare space. As a matter of fact they pretty much ignored the musicians and us. (Although, many threw folding money in the tip jar.) That was better than the distain we see at some venues.

Enough about us, wine list was better than expected as was the beer selection. Many fancy liquor choices and drink, too. All were pretty reasonably priced. Service was good and not overbearing. Bathrooms were clean and there never seemed to a line. Plenty of electronic gambling machines perhaps subsidizing the drink costs. I also saw golfers in the back room with drivers hitting into something. Perhaps a simulator.

All in all a fun place. Not the best...

Celebrated my fiancé 30th birthday there and it was the best. Kenny made sure we had everything set days before the party, showed up to the party to help out and make sure everything was great. He would keep up with checking in every so often which was nice to have the owner involved and actually care how it was all going. The bartenders were super awesome and made sure to check on everyone who was in the golf simulator on drinks and food. Overall I’m so thrilled we did his party there. First visit was memorable and I think it was the owner that made my sandwich (5) stars Second visit my sandwich came out in about 3 mins (-2 stars) and the meatball was the color of chorizo which was weird but I forged on and was totally disappointed in the same sandwich I had two days prior. Maybe they keep the meatballs that long which is fine for home but not what I expect from a restaurant. A dry overcooked meatball??? C'mon man. I'll do a third visit which I do minimumally with all restaurants I review but right now I'm on the fence with this place. Did win on the slots so probably why I'm not...
