Legends Pub & Grille — Restaurant in Pratt

This is seriously a nice place. Everyone that waits on u, fixes your drink, bring ur food all women...that's OK. The decor is upscale similar to what u would find in an English Pub. The Sarge ordered a salad and shrimp with a baked potato. Everything is OK at this point looks good.I ordered a salad with corn as a vegie, a 12 oz. rib eye ordered medium rare. The salad is great, crispy good dressing and all is well next came my steak....grey and sick looking, no char, just a grey sick looking. Well I turned it over and Wallace a little darker in places. So I trimmed the whole outer edge getting rid of the excess fat and silver skin. Now I'm ready to eat. I cut into the eye and it was tough and raw. Now I can eat a good steak or prim rib any way it comes as long as it's halfway tender and this wasn't tender nor cooked. I don't know what he/she cooked it in/on but this was on my list of worst cooked, worst #3 choice this was tough, tough, tough. But I got good chompers and they will go through just about anything including this old cow. But u know when u get a tough stringy beef how u get strings of beef between ur teeth and u just know there isn't a tooth pick that can free up this stuff. I showed the piece's i was tired of trying to whip into edible (that went to Spencer) waitress when she came around And in sympathy she knocked off 15%. My fries were Luke warm otherwise good, 9 month later gave it a 2nd try and got a wilted salad and a straight up cold BLT on white bread instead of sour dough as requested and the waitress took 30 min of us attempting to wave her down because it was pretty much inedible. I must be a glutton for punishment 2 years later I gave them another chance. 15 min after arriving she took our drink order, 15 min after that she took our food order who would think two burgers and fries and a loaded baked potato w/ cottage cheese would take 30 minutes? But magically when I mentioned needing it to go so I could go back to work at this point she brought it straight out and not to go.....so an hour was our timing to get in, seated, order, and get food. We watched tables around us of burgers and fries of all variety get delivered for people who arrived after us. We were never asked about refills and she took off before we could ask for ice since by the time our tea got to us it was almost all melted and the tea was warm in bottom of glasses. At least the food was half cooked, fortunately I like medium rare because that is what my burger was when I finally got a chance to bite into it......I know it's not fast food but this was ridiculous and I felt bad for suggesting it to my visiting parents. My husband and I stopped here for dinner on a Weds. at about 5:30 p.m. in late Dec. on our way through town. They were only about half full at the time, but for some reason they seated us at a table (for four, mind you) right by the entrance, where it was cold. The place was cutely decorated for Christmas. Our server was attentive and polite. We ordered the Napa Valley salad with grilled chicken, and a Philly Spud. The salad was the better of the two, even though the grilled chicken was a little dry. We chose the steamed vegetables as the side for the Spud. Unfortunately, the vegetables were barely warm enough to melt the side of butter that also came with it.
