Was asked to to pull up and wait for our food to finish cooking has to wait over 10 mins after placing our order thru the drive thru and paying at the drive thru window lady at the drive thru window said it was because we had to wait for our French fries to finish cooking we pulled forward their was another vehicle already pulled ahead of us and waiting for their order before us and it wasn’t very long till they had their order so we pulled up even further after they got their order but after sitting for ten minutes we pulled around even further around towards the front of the restaurant entrance and closer to the front doors that goes directly into their dining area and visibly can see how many customers they had instead their was only two individuals inside the dining room area so they weren’t that busy so after waiting 10 mins and still no food my husband gets out and goes inside to see what is taking so long he comes back out with the bags of our food which wasn’t that great especially after having to wait for over 10+ mins for food to supposedly finish up cooking whenever my French fries weren’t hot they were hard as a rock and cold plus my chicken wasn’t even hot it was barely warm for someone who had to wait that long for food to cook it should of been burning hot too hot to even pick up let along to actually take a bite without it burning my mouth or tongue but our food wasn’t anything like that it wasn’t hot at all it was barely warm the chicken is so bland it doesn’t even taste the same anymore especially not how their chicken use to taste and this is coming from a former employee that worked at the old kfc and was my first job as a teenager so I understand how the fast food industry works and ik how stressful it can get when your busy but it wasn’t busy the dining area had two people inside it and if your going to have customers pull forward to wait for their food then their food should be damn well hot especially after making your customers wait over 10+ minutes for barely lukewarm food. Read moreSo.. this was the first time in maybe two years since we had gotten any KFC. When we pulled up, the drive-thru was lined up around the building. When it got to be our turn... we wanted cheese curds..they were out of them... We wanted 1/2 original and 1/2 grilled only to be told that they were out, and the wait for anything except wings was going to be 30 minutes minimum, and there'd be no grilled. The lady on the intercom wasn't the most pleasant person, but, we weren't really in a hurry, so we decided to wait. The sweet lady that came out to our vehicle was trying to get the orders to the right people. She explained that the person who was taking the orders had just picked up her things and walked out saying she wasn't feeling well. She also said she had an 8 pc. all white meal. We told her that we had an 8 pc., but it wasn't supposed to be all white and we had really wanted 1/2 grilled. She then told us that they don't grill anything anymore... So it wasn't that they were out of grilled chicken... We were fine with the all white and took it.
I guess what I am getting at is it's not just us as the customer who gets the raw end of the stick. The sweet lady and the other ones who were still working were doing their best to make sure they got everything right for all of us customers. She even told us to call the restaurant if we got home and something wasn't right. So, kudos to her, and to those who are out there that still care about the job that you do and the reflection it has on not only the restaurant, but on you too! I, for one, really...
Read moreI went there hoping to get a good lunch I walked in paid for my buffet and drink $7.95 The lady at the register look very discouraged as I walked out with my tray I noticed how bad the lobby and sitting area actually looked there was not a clean table in the place the floor had mud crumbs and several other items I won't mention all over the floor I got a place in the corner and went and got napkins and water and wiped off my table and my chair so I could have a seat I went up and got my drink from the drink machine there were lids straw wrappers cups and soda spilled everywhere My shoes stuck to the floor in front of the soda machine There was no ice in the ice machine After I filled my cup and took it back to the table I ventured to the buffet There was one piece of crispy chicken two pieces of original recipe and two pieces of rotisserie chicken the rotisserie chicken was dried up I went over to the vegetables there was corn all over the buffet gravy in the potatoes mixed in and what little bit of cabbage there was had chicken gizzards floating in it and had been there for a while Needless to say if I could rate this less than 1 * I would I will not be back to this location of KFC I have been to all three Paducah Kentucky locations none of them were this bad the service in the KFC in Cadiz Kentucky is terrible as well KFC used to be one of my favorite places to eat but not so much anymore From now on I'm voting for...
