It must have been a slower time when our large party went in. They got us seated right away. Although, I guess it's one of those places you order first then they bring it out when it's ready. 🤷‍♀️ (It was everyone's first time eating here.) The woman who waited on us was very polite, friendly and she tried to be as helpful as possible. We had some indecisive people in our group. It didn't take very long for all of our orders to come out. They all looked pleasantly appetizing. Everyone's food was steaming hot, perfectly cooked vegetables with a nice crunch still to them and a large side of white rice accompanying the meal. We were all surprised by how well our meals maintained their heat throughout our consumption of them. We did not get asked for refills on our drinks, not sure if we had to do that ourselves or not. (First Time eating here) We had to clear our own table at the end of the meal.

I'm an adult with autism and hypersensory disorder comes with it, in my case. I have a ton of eating limitations relating to many textures and many strong flavors as well. As you can imagine, having to be so picky with my orders when I appear perfectly typical can be a bit embarrassing for me. I went in with my husband and sheepishly told the guy I couldn't have a lot of foods and only one was an allergy. He was incredibly ready for such a thing and was saying the equivalent of "just hit me with it, I'm ready!" And he was SO ready that he came from the kitchen at one point and let us know he also stopped the cook from putting in green peppers, which I hadn't mentioned but is one of my most hated vegetables ever! That would have ruined my whole dish but his easy consideration of what I could stand to eat saved it. I absolutely LOVED the beef with broccoli, just like one I used to get in Chicago years ago, AND the house fried rice (no onions, carrots or peas) AND the sweet and sour pork. Well done Oriental Garden! You made me feel very accepted when I so often feel like my being picky is a real bother. It means a lot to me and we'll be back...

Best Chinese food we've had since Lin Garden in Ottawa changed ownership (& we quit going)! We JUST heard about Oriental Garden and were tickled to find it! I got the Chicken with vegetables lunch combo. It was excellent! The wonton soup was soooo good! Hubby got the Hawaiian Chicken House Specialty, which was pretty much the Chicken with vegetables with added pineapple (Wish I'd gotten that. That little extra sweetness from the pineapple made an awesome dish even better!) Next time though I'm gett something with more "zing". Started to but figured I'd try a basic dish the 1st time in. And the Rangoons are as every bit as good as the other reviewers said! The spring rolls we got were crispy on the outside & had GREAT flavor but, for me, the filling was a little bit mushy. I like my filling a little more crunchy, not cooked quite so done. And the staff was VERY friendly & accommodating. We live in Spring Valley & its well worth the drive to Princeton to Oriental Garden for fresh, delicious, PIPING HOT, Chinese food! We'll...

Went back a second time to order the mongolian beef family meal for two but menu is confusing as to what is included. They brought out a pu pu plater to me. I said I didn't order that. They said it came with it.the menu wasn't clear that it did so I repeated my order of only wanting the meal dish for two with white rice. They took it back and finally had what I ordered packaged for take out. Got home and the containers were not good as all juices poured out in the bag making a big mess. So I got that all cleaned up losing some of the food. The rice pints weren't full only about 3/4 full. Finally sat down to eat some of it. The Mongolian beef was good. But something is wrong with the rice. It didn't have the texture and taste of rice. It was like trying to eat plastic pellets. Tried to fix it and couldn't. So I had to throw away the rice. Then it dawned on me where I was aware of a new rice being used that actually has plastic filler in it. Not saying this one was that but just couldn't chew it up. Not going back to...
